What we enjoyed:
1. Location - the highest point of the island and much quieter than Fira where the cruise ships come in. The view from the room and pool area were completely unobstructed of the Caldera, approximately 1000 feet above see level.
2. The staff greeted us very warmly and were expecting us. Since this is a small boutique hotel, you become friends with the staff. Sharef and Cornelia were just a few that went above and beyond.
3. Small restaurant bar/grill near the pool was so convenient. We stayed one day on property due to view and service.
4. They suggested a 5 hour Catamaran Tour of the sunset at ~160 Euros per person, which included transportation and dinner. Swam in thermal core of volcano and other interesting spots. The greek food cooked by the staff was excellent! Highly recommend! If not a great swimmer, they have noodles for floating. We met very nice guests from all over the world!
5. The included breakfast is very good and ample, especially when eating on your own deck.

So not for families or people wanting a bustling town. Fira is bustling crowded and good for a budget holiday. Oia is prettier more stylish and probably should be the first choice unless you like isolation eg honeymoon. Must say Oia during the day is as bad as any famous European destination since there are lines of over an hour to even take a picturesque photograph.

About 25 minutes drive from the port. Close to Fira and not a crowded spot like Fira. Other places like Oia are easily reachable by car. A good choice if you want to avoid the bustle. You do need a car if you stay in Imerovigli. Not much you can do by walking.

Unarguably the best sunset in the island in imerovigli, parts of oia is fancier, i'd recommend 1 day in oia but 2 days exloring fira and imerovigli areas, 1 day catamaran experience (day trip for sure during april-may), 1 day exploring beaches including perissa.

it was the most charming place centered in a perfect location. It was quiet but with access to wonderful resturaunts, those above the resorts on the streets like Four Seasons or The Avacado were amazing. The workers at Sophia were knowlegeable and so helpful. The community buses are clean, beautiful and convenient and the jile to Oia wS stunning. the walk to Fira the capital of santorini was also lovely. The wineries the shopping the ruins...it has it all. I cant say enough about the people at sophia and how fabulous the breakfasts are. We were always pleasantly surprised by the grace of the people and the quality of the resort. It is important to be iphysically able and somewhat in shape to manage the stairs and access the room. This os what makes the place so magical and so calm.

Their customer service is top notch. Few days before my trip, there were some changes about their facilities. I was contacted and informed in advance. They offered to upgrade my suite to another hotel, which they did. Their patience , prompt response, professionalism and customer service far exceeded my expectations.
I will highly recommend them and won't hesitate to book this suite for my next holidays in Santorini. If you’re going to Santorini, Dreaming Suites is the best place to go to, you’ll love it!

Beyond the obvious -- views from Oia, sunset over the sea -- we urge everyone to visit the amazing archeological site at Akrotiri and the Museum of Prehistoric Thera (in Fira) which houses many of the objects found at the Akrotiri site. If history and archeology interest you at all, these sites are not to be missed! (Ignore travel guide indications that Akrotiri is only open in the summer -- that is not true!) Also, visit the lovely little town of Pyrgos if you have time. We were able to travel in the off-season which meant that many stores and restaurants across the island were closed but it also meant that we totally avoided the infamous crowds.
Couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in for our trip to Santorini... The facilities were amazing and the service the hotel provides couldn't have been better, every element feels like luxury! The hotel is in a perfect location, right next to the town of Imerovigli which is a 15 minute walk and the capital Fira, which is a 10 minute taxi journey that the hotel provides whenever you need. We travelled all around the island on the quad bike and were more than happy with our decision to stay at SantAnna!
Our stay at the hotel was beyond amazing. Nicolos was the best host we have ever met. He was very attentive, kind and detail orientated. The food was very tasty. The room had everything you can ever need. The towels, slippers were the best quality like in a luxury hotel. We stayed there for our friends’ wedding and Nicolos left for us something for hangover which was very thoughtful. We recommend anyone who comes to Santorini to stay at this place.

First of all the staff and the host were 100% helpful. Vaggelis the host in 30 minutes when we arrived while checking in, explained to us where and when to go to all the main attractions in santorini, plus all the good restaurants, plus the catamaran excursion he proposed to us was exceptional!! The hotel is in the centre of everywhere, clean pool, parking, and in a very quiet area. With quad we had 10 minutes to OIA and 7 minutes to FIRA. I recomnend it 100%.

The room (room 4) had everything we needed for our two night honeymoon-stay in Santorini. It had the most wonderful view, the private pool was amazing and big enough for two and the staff (Yiannis and Tamara) were very welcoming, attentative and answered all our questions and requests. The location in Imerovigli is excellent; you have all the Santorini vibes without the masses of Oia. The path from Imerovigli to Fira goes directly by the hotel.
The hotel has a breathtaking view to the caldera and the sunsets. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. My ferry arrived 2 hours and a half later and they wait for me to make the check in at 1 AM. Adele and Enisa were my Guardian Angels during my stay in Santorini. You can choose whatever you want for breakfast and decide the time and the place to have it. The room has everything you need to spend a wonderful vacation time.
The view: I think everyone who's going to Santorini is looking for the view and nice pictures that you see on internet. You have it from this hotel + full sunset. Beautiful. The view from any room is amazing.

This hotel is sensational. Very clean, super-friendly staff, the room was a great size, the breakfast was delicious, and the views are unparalleled. If you want to stay in Santorini and not deal with the craziness of Oia, this is the hotel for you. It's about a 15-minute walk to Fira (FYI walking back to the hotel is uphill) and a 15-minute drive to Oia (about $25). I would highly recommend this hotel.
it’s on the side of a mountain/hill over looking the sea with beautiful views everywhere. the breakfast every day was amazing. you have your own jacuzzi and the staff is responsive. Please note most properties in Santorini don’t have an actual address so if you take a Taxi tell them Galis Square, but pay the premium price to let the hotel arrange your airport pickup so they will await your arrival.

I feel like a lot of hotels on Santorini provide a great view and comfortable accommodations, but the Aqua staff make the experience exceptional. Everyone was such a pro, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brought to our room every day. There was availability for a room upgrade and they made it happen for us so quickly.
Imerovigli is the ideal area to stay in Santorini- Views over the Caldera are incredible, without the sunset crowds. Heliotopos shows it’s age - but is still a very comfortable hotel, great value for money for the area and with extremely friendly, helpful staff. So grateful they carry luggage up and down to your room.
This place was absolutely perfect. Annio Flats might be my favorite place I’ve ever stayed due to the amazing hospitality that Georgia and her staff provides.
