What we enjoyed:
1. Location - the highest point of the island and much quieter than Fira where the cruise ships come in. The view from the room and pool area were completely unobstructed of the Caldera, approximately 1000 feet above see level.
2. The staff greeted us very warmly and were expecting us. Since this is a small boutique hotel, you become friends with the staff. Sharef and Cornelia were just a few that went above and beyond.
3. Small restaurant bar/grill near the pool was so convenient. We stayed one day on property due to view and service.
4. They suggested a 5 hour Catamaran Tour of the sunset at ~160 Euros per person, which included transportation and dinner. Swam in thermal core of volcano and other interesting spots. The greek food cooked by the staff was excellent! Highly recommend! If not a great swimmer, they have noodles for floating. We met very nice guests from all over the world!
5. The included breakfast is very good and ample, especially when eating on your own deck.

So not for families or people wanting a bustling town. Fira is bustling crowded and good for a budget holiday. Oia is prettier more stylish and probably should be the first choice unless you like isolation eg honeymoon. Must say Oia during the day is as bad as any famous European destination since there are lines of over an hour to even take a picturesque photograph.

About 25 minutes drive from the port.
About 25 minutes drive from the port. Close to Fira and not a crowded spot like Fira. Other places like Oia are easily reachable by car. A good choice if you want to avoid the bustle. You do need a car if you stay in Imerovigli. Not much you can do by walking.

Unarguably the best sunset in the island in imerovigli, parts of oia is fancier, i'd recommend 1 day in oia but 2 days exloring fira and imerovigli areas, 1 day catamaran experience (day trip for sure during april-may), 1 day exploring beaches including perissa.

it was the most charming place centered in a perfect location. It was quiet but with access to wonderful resturaunts, those above the resorts on the streets like Four Seasons or The Avacado were amazing. The workers at Sophia were knowlegeable and so helpful. The community buses are clean, beautiful and convenient and the jile to Oia wS stunning. the walk to Fira the capital of santorini was also lovely. The wineries the shopping the ruins...it has it all. I cant say enough about the people at sophia and how fabulous the breakfasts are. We were always pleasantly surprised by the grace of the people and the quality of the resort. It is important to be iphysically able and somewhat in shape to manage the stairs and access the room. This os what makes the place so magical and so calm.

Their customer service is top notch. Few days before my trip, there were some changes about their facilities. I was contacted and informed in advance. They offered to upgrade my suite to another hotel, which they did. Their patience , prompt response, professionalism and customer service far exceeded my expectations.
I will highly recommend them and won't hesitate to book this suite for my next holidays in Santorini. If you’re going to Santorini, Dreaming Suites is the best place to go to, you’ll love it!

Beyond the obvious -- views from Oia, sunset over the sea -- we urge everyone to visit the amazing archeological site at Akrotiri and the Museum of Prehistoric Thera (in Fira) which houses many of the objects found at the Akrotiri site. If history and archeology interest you at all, these sites are not to be missed! (Ignore travel guide indications that Akrotiri is only open in the summer -- that is not true!) Also, visit the lovely little town of Pyrgos if you have time. We were able to travel in the off-season which meant that many stores and restaurants across the island were closed but it also meant that we totally avoided the infamous crowds.
This was 1 of 3 hotels we stayed during our trip in Santorini and this was our favorite hotel. Nikos the reception guy and the staff was incredibly nice and did everything possible for us! We could not have asked for a better view and a place to enjoy our stay in Santorini. Location of the hotel was also one of our favorites. This accommodation had also the best value. The room types where quite different I think but we choose Honeymoon Suite with outdoor hot tub and Caldera View and I would highly recommend that one.
Christos made our honeymoon in Santorini one to always treasure. From the moment we stepped into the hotel reception, we were immediately greeted by his warm hospitality, and he really took the time to answer questions and make recommendations for places to eat and things to do. His recommendation to Sigalas winery for the sunset dinner and wine tasting was spot on, and it beats cramming into Oia with thousands of other people.
You can stay in any hotel with amazing views, but only this hotel has amazing staff!
Saint Sin Suites is perfectly located in Imerovigli near many restaurants and cafes with a stunning view overlooking the ocean. Saint Sin Suites also offers a great breakfast delivered to the room. The small rooftop is also very nice with a great view. Can watch sunset from there. The room is spacious and very clean. Overall if you don't want to spend too much money on your accommodation but still want a decent place, with sea view, then this is probably the best value for money will get in Santorini!
The location is very good looking out over the caldera. It was good being in Imerovigli which is a 20~30 minute walk from Fira. Fira was noisy and not very pretty so it is better to stay in Imerovigli. The property is beautifully maintained with nice gardens and we made good use of the pool. There are good restaurants nearby although all Santorini prices are elevated compared to other parts of Greece, including other islands. It is definitely a 5 star resort and a great place to relax.
We liked the caldera view, wine cabinet from where you can grab your wine - remember to try santorini local wines for sure- and there was so much space!friendly people welcomed us and we had a very fast and clean transfer service that they arranged.honestly i thought there are many similar hotels in the caldera but overaall i have never had this service before, the large space of the suite as well as the luxury vibe it gave out were more than expected and I definetely recommend.
Really nice hotel on the top of the island with amazing views of Santorini. This hotel is located in imerovigli which is much quieter and calmer than fira and Oia. It feels like you have the whole town to yourself with less tourists around.
Hotel also has a nice swimming pool, VERY friendly staff and your breakfast is delivered to your door!!! Great breakfast options too.

The hotel has a breathtaking view to the caldera and the sunsets. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. My ferry arrived 2 hours and a half later and they wait for me to make the check in at 1 AM. Adele and Enisa were my Guardian Angels during my stay in Santorini. You can choose whatever you want for breakfast and decide the time and the place to have it. The room has everything you need to spend a wonderful vacation time.
This hotel is absolutely exquisite. It has the best pool in all of Santorini (the photo opps are endless). The rooms are sweet (but the room we had, 106, was small. I’m not sure if that’s just a Greece thing or what). The staff are literal angels. it smells like heaven in there. We both agreed we’d only stay here when we return to Santorini. Also- get a Caldera view room. We are in love with this hotel!
Stayed in Santorini over a week and tried a few luxury hotels. This is by far, the best! Excellent service, they provided so much information and services before I asked. Attention to details are amazing, the most comfortable sheets, heated pool ( very important if you do not go in summer). Not to mention the amazing view right facing the sunset. My only regret was not to book another night here.
We had the Superior Studio and I have to say that the view to caldera and to sunset was outstanding. Probably the best from Imerovigli to Oia (we took a hike to oia and looked a bit of other hotels with caldera view).
Pool is 3 meters from outdoor. The room was pretty compact, but there was everything we needed.

One of the best places we stayed at! We saw a lot of sunsets throughout Santorini and this hotel honestly had the best. The staff was exceptional - very friendly and helpful! The rooms were very cute and definitely made us feel like we were in Greece! Breakfast was a la carte and served right on our balcony! If I could rate this place 11/10 I would!
We have been dreaming of visiting Greece, specifically Santorini, for years and this was a dream come true. We loved our stay at Krokos Villas with unbelievable views. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the caldera each morning was amazing. The young woman working at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet.
Excellent location at the highest point in Santorini with fabulous sunsets overlooking the caldera and Skaros rock. Staff is superior and very responsive to needs. In room drinks and dining were great with reasonable prices if one wishes to stay in after sunset. 30 minute walk to Fira on path just below hotel and about 2 hour walk to Oia.
It was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view and location in imerovigli. it couldn’t have been any better. the staff was very kind, the breakfast really good and there was a lot to choose from. the room was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. we would definitely come back if we are in santorini again.
The service is spectacular. The girls at the front desk was very sweet and gave us amazing recommendations for what to do in Santorini, Belle Etoile also upgraded our villa for a room with a jacuzzi. The staff was very helpful and made our stay with them amazing.
