wonderful stay here in this gorgeous little house - central location in the village but lovely and quiet - own parking space nearby, very comfortably equipped - modern but sympathetic reconstruction of a beautiful old village house. The host is excellent and very helpful - checked we were ok, even for our short stay - very grateful for their considerate and professional approach

What an amazing place to stay. Me and my wife spend our honeymoon at this lovely small hotel.
The hotel is adults only. It is quite and has a great vibe. In the evening there is always a program related to music and food with a Greek twist to it.
The staff is so friendly. They show interest in you and make small conversations, which is great. They all work with a big genuine smile which we really appreciated!
The beds were a little bid too soft for us... however, we are used to sleep on really firm beds...
The breakfast was amazing! Definitely recommend that.
One last amazing thing... no need to get up early to put your towel on the sun-beds. There are enough available beds and sofas around the pool during the day, even the more luxury kingsized beds with curtains were available if you choose to go to the pool during the afternoon! Great!!

Very nice rooms,in a perfect place to go either to Chania or Rethimnon! Perfect Value for money hotel and Mrs Christina was very hospitable and helpful.There is free of charge parking place of the hotel and the wifi is super fast.
Lovely old village in a beautiful part of Crete. A few cafe’s and a tavern, and a convenient mini market in the centre.
Many other villages near, beaches not too far, Chania and Rethymno towns a short car ride away. Both towns worth a visit, as are the larger villages of Vrisses and Vamos nearby.

We absolutely loved Kefalas.
We absolutely loved Kefalas. Taverna in village very good, We had a very close very very friendly local bar. Not at all touristy. They treated us like old friends from the first moment we met them, very relaxing. A few rundown/derelict properties in the village. But as the village is very old it takes nothing away from the area and just adds to the feel of cultural history and the relaxed nature of the village.
Plenty of typical Greek Tavernas within a short drive of the village and all welcoming with great food.
The Parasia Taverna is 15 minute drive away and should be at the top of any bodies list of places to eat when visiting the area
