Beautiful setting on the edge of a valley, the town was pretty and the ruins of ancient Delphi were spectacular, enhanced by a very good museum with artifacts from the site. We took the Ktel bus there from Athens for one night which was very good and cheap compared to tour buses. Booking the bus on the website was straightforward and the bus ride very comfortable and air-conditioned

Delphi is a specially historical place to visit that can be done in a day or 24 hours, depending on the time you arrive. If you are buying tickets to the Museum, please be aware that you must visit the archaeological site on the same day that you see the museum. Both are a must to visit and the site is magnificent.

It’s an incredible site to visit.
It’s an incredible site to visit. The museum is great, and it’s probably best to visit the museum before going up to the site itself. Bear in mind, if you buy a ticket online in advance, the entry time restriction applies to the museum only. You can enter the main site at any time.

Great Location , Too warm inside the hotel .Had to wait 3 hours to get the right temperature in the room. Flies all over the breakfast buffet (meaning no breakfast that we paid for). Old pool with poor renovation

Delphi has a great archeological site and museum.
Delphi has a great archeological site and museum. Those can be seen in one morning or afternoon. The number of large tour groups was a headache and ruined the experience. There needs to be a limit on entry per day. The town is a tourist trap and not worth your time. Stay elsewhere for better surroundings and visit Delphi on a day trip. Mt Parnassus National Park is an empty, undeveloped forest. As far as we could tell, we were the only ones there in mid April. The place is real wilderness and loaded with a wide variety of mushroom and fungus, which is a why we went.

Archeological site and museum are well worth the trip, but other than that, there’s no reason to stay more than the morning or afternoon it takes to see those two things. The town is another tourist trap of souvenir stores and basic restaurants with extremely limited parking.
Newly remodeled, solidly built unit with a nice view in the middle of Delphi! Everything, including the museum and many dining options, is within an easy 2-10 min walk from the unit. Car could be easily parked on the street in front of the hotel. The person who helped us during the check-in showed us the unit and provided recommendations about top dining choices in town and places to see - thank you!
Perfect location right in the middle of the main street, easy walk to the historic site and museum, and surrounded by good restaurants and bars. George and Vicki were extremely welcoming hosts, with lots of useful advice about where to eat, what else to see etc. excellent breakfast, lots of variety. Perfect simple hotel, great value for money. Easy to park car nearby. Highly recommend.
Amalia hotel is a landmark hotel in the area, and despite the facilities are getting outdated the essential renovation that happened give you a feeling of living in the 70s but with some glimpse of 2020s luxuries. I liked how they preserved the overall “naked” concrete feeling across the building. Room was comfortable and I strongly recommend to ask for one with a view!
Hotel was very comfortable although a little noisy (but management can’t be blamed for inconsiderate guests). View from the balcony was stunning and it was an easy walk to the museum and ruins.
Also breakfast was one of the most generous we had experienced in Greece!
The friendliness of the owner and staff who
encouraged us to feel at home was noteworthy and we relaxed and enjoyed the wonderful view. It was a peaceful hotel, with a very good breakfast and we found no difficulty in parking nearbye.
