We had a double aspect room on the 5th floor and could not have been more delighted with the spectacular view of the fort, the sea and the yachts. It is perfectly situated by the old town of Corfu so you simply walk out and you are in the midst of everything. There is a lovely breeze on the 5th floor so we slept with windows open. The roof bar restaurant is fabulous.

Super friendly and helpful staff, great location in walking distance from nice restaurants and shops. The amazing breakfast is served in the backyard. It’s an old stylish villa that could do with a bit of a renovation, but for 4 stars this is great value!

Loved the lanes that were full of restaurants bars and shops. A vibrant town. The harbour has beautiful views and the Old Fort is worth the climb to see another spectacular view of Corfu Town. Be aware the larger shops close early on a Saturday and not open on a Sunday so if you are self catering make sure you ahve your supplies. Very easy to walk around the town. We eat at a number of different restaurants and would grade them from good to very good. Can be busy when the cruise ships are in.

Corfu was amazing, and my family members who went too all...
Corfu was amazing, and my family members who went too all agree. The Corfu Palace Hotel was a highlight, with great views, breakfasts, and location. We especially enjoyed climbing to the top of the Old Fortress and walking around the Old Town. We went to 2 beaches, Glythia and Porto Timoni, and if we had brought an international drivers license, we could have driven to the Porto Timoni, b/c we had to pay 200 Euros for a taxi to and from. One of my highlights was taking the ferry to Saranda, Albania. For over 40 years, Albania was "the North Korea of Europe," one of the world's most isolated nations with a harsh communist dictatorship. Now, one can travel there freely and from Corfu it was easy. We enjoyed the English worship service on Mother's Day at the Holy Trinity Church. If we had had more time, would have gone to the New Fortress and the Mon Repos palace and Mouse Island. Maybe on a future trip!

A stunning city with its own unique charm and character.
A stunning city with its own unique charm and character. Easily walkable both for the Old Town and its waterfront. Exceptional places to visit, especially the Old Fortress. Places that provide either wonderful views or just time to chill. A perfect location for a few nights stay.

Old Town lovely to mooch around with many retail and dining options. Both forts are impressive structures but a bit lacking in information and museum exhibits - very reasonably priced. Highly recommend Listons for coffee and lightmeals.

It is good to have a few days time.
It is good to have a few days time. Though one might be able to see most attractions in a day or two, it feels much nicer to take the time to roam through the atmospheric streets and see where one ends up and what is personally relevant at the time. It might be nice to visit the town market in the early morning hours; skip a breakfast in one's hotel and instead have breakfast in a coffee shop and sit between the locals; walk in non touristy areas and take time to make contact with sellers, like the wonderful owner of the religious gift shop 'Thomas', close to St. Spiridon church.
Take time for a siesta in the hottest hours of the day and start refreshed for an afternoon excursion to one of the recommended attractions, followed by a splendid dinner in one of the many restaurants in the narrow alleys of the town, accompanied by the songs of swallows.
We certainly come back, as there are still many things to discover and town and people deserve your interest and appreciation.
so different than an apartment!
What an amazing experience! Thank you to Donia and her son George who were outstanding.
We wanted 2 nights in old Corfu town before heading to Paxi, this was by far the best experience rather than an apartment.
Based at the old Fortress within the sailing club. Felt safe, the boat is clean, homely and a home from home, just amazing! Loved listening to the music school in the morning, just the most fantastic experience, thank you Donia!
I’ll definitely be back to have a skipper to take us out on Cleopatra!
The hospitality of the owners ,the amazing apartment, full of the modern convinience (smart tv,wifi, copier, refrigerator, stove and oven,Nespresso machine and a drip cofee machine, washer and dryer in the unit and iron and ironing board), the full of food and snacks pantry and refrigerator, bar with name brands of liquer, the very confortable bed the choice of pillows, and the most inportant of all the LOCATION!!!! 15 feet from the center of town (LIston) a travelers dream.A 5 star experience in the center of Corfu town.Highly recomented. 5*****
The view of the best! And it’s what you’re paying the high price for. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the three balconies! The location, only a short walk from the old centre, is also great. The apartment was very clean and the main bed is comfortable. The owners are lovely, including their son Nikolas who met us and translated for us. The owners left us some small snacks and a little decanter of ouzo - how wonderful! It was also very quiet when the balcony doors are closed and air con worked well.
We just did bed and breakfast but the breakfast had a lot of choice. The hotel was beautiful and the view was incredible. Close enough to the town centre. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. The receptionists couldn’t help us enough and always friendly and the lady at the pool bar was amazing, her speciality cocktail was 10/10! Would definitely stay here again. Plane noises you definitely get used to and will miss it
it is located in the best area possible in Corfu town, in the old town. It is very good value for money, a large apartment with all the facilities you need for a decent stay. You have a dining room and a kitchen, we even received for free water, coffee, toast bread, butter/jam/honey and cheese&ham - all you need for a quick breakfast. The host was very friendly and she shared great tips and recommendations to visit around.
Sunset Hotel was the ideal choice for our last night in Corfu. With an early flight the next morning, it’s proximity to Corfu Town made for an enjoyable last day of exploring the city and a quick 15 minute ride to the airport in the morning to catch our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a cute balcony with ample seating. The staff were friendly and helpful with arranging taxis.
Perfect place to stay in Corfu town. Location is perfect, everything is just around the hotel. It's necessary to book room with balcony with view to the main square- it's breathtaking. Rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and quiet good sound isolation. Staff were polite and breakfast was delicious.
We chose this hotel as it was the cheapest in Corfu town. It was very clean and we got exactly what we needed for a 1-night stay. The lady in the reception was very kind and booked us a taxi for the following morning as our flight was very early.
This apartment was in a great location, right in the heart of Corfu town. Alkistis was a lovely host she gave us a list of the best Greek restaurants and shared her knowledge of the old town. we would definitely stay here again.
Nice clean little apartment in a great location in Corfu town. The kitchen was well stocked (even though we couldn't figure out how to turn on the stove) and the wifi worked well. Would book again.
The location was perfect—very central to the most popular areas of Corfu town. Very quiet at night. Decent facilities for light cooking, a nice welcome basket of goodies, washer/dryer.
Very nice breakfast. I liked the location and it was fine for me since I had a car. It may be a little far from Corfu town to walk but still a nice place.
Fantastic location, clean and open space, great value, convenient to all of Corfu Town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stay that isn’t a hotel.
