What a wonderful hotel. Great service from the staff - especially Christina. High end restaurants with great food and wine. Excellent standard of house keeping. Loved the spa and treatments. Rooms very sound proof which made a big difference compared with other hotels we’ve stayed in.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options. The food available for order was delicious, and the staff, especially Marco and Christine, were incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. The pool was also a great place to relax and unwind.
The private plunge pool was a great extra feature, but know that the water is cold in september. So it's not very nice if you can't handle cold very well.

Benitses used to be nice. Now it's overflowing with visitors (the problem is the busses are often full so one can't rely on them anymore). The quality of the restaurants and supermarkets has gone downhill sharply.
Otherwise, it's a beautiful village, with stunning views on the sea and mainland, close to Corfu town, on the green bus route to the South of the island.
The beach is not the greatest (small, plenty of seaweed...).

This hotel is roadside with the beach across the road.
This hotel is roadside with the beach across the road. It is well served by buses with bus stops in both directions, directly outside the hotel. It is possible to walk to Benitses (I did several times) but at night I always caught the bus back. The hotel is family run. A great breakfast is complimentary as part of your booking. The hotel is clean and functional. The family who run this hotel go out of their way to help you - they really do make the difference!

I Just love the small village atmosphere.
I Just love the small village atmosphere. I have visited places all over the Island of Corfu but Benitses is by far my favourite! There are many types of accommodation to stay in, wonderful shops, restaurants and entertainment, a marina and the locals are all super friendly! Its so easy to get round, is on the bus route and is only a 20 minute drive to the busting Corfu Town! The beach is shingle but isnt uncomfortable under foot and the bonus is you dont get sand everywhere! I would recommend the Angsana Hotel if you want some luxury, the Potomaki if you are on a budget or as an alternative the private villa Kalyva Country House is wonderful!

The people of Benitses are the loveliest, friendliest people you will ever meet. They can't do enough for you. Benitses is a beautifull place with lots of tavernas, restaurants and shops. It is a great base to visit other places on the island, either by bus or car or bike rental. If you go visit the Achilleon palace near benitses, its superb.I particularly recommend Vavaras taverna which is run by Vavara and her family who will make you feel part of their family.Corfu is fantastic.

cute little beach town. a nice marina with an impressive restaurants area next to it. the old village is nice to walk around. The beaches are comfortable and quite.
This is exactly what you need from a little beach town. Away from all the hassle of Corfu Town. However, should you want the hassle .. Corfu town is only 30 minutes away by a comfortable bus (no. 6).

I liked Benitses though would have been disappointed with it...
I liked Benitses though would have been disappointed with it a few years ago! It is a friendly resort and has two almost separate ends. Most of the restaurants are in the northern section which was interesting to walk around. We stayed in the south of the village which seemed to be going through a rebirth! There are still a lot of derelict properties around this area which sounds worse that what it was. There are plenty of good restaurants in the south side and the food and local wine is good value. The road, which is the only one from Corfu town to the south, cuts through the village and is a nuisance. I would not have been happy having a family holiday here and would not recommend for children. I liked Benitses but wouldn't go back.
It was perfect for us. The location in Benitses was close to supermarkets for our provisions. The bus stop was very close and the trip into Corfu town didn’t take long the ticket cost €1.50.
The Passas apartment had a beautiful view, was in excellent condition and had all we needed re crockery and cutlery. Regularly serviced with fresh towels etc and friendly staff. Best of all is the owner Nikos a gentleman and so helpful. I am looking forward to another holiday in Corfu and wouldn’t hesitate to book Passas Mare.
We felt very comfortable and welcome at this hotel. The owners are really nice people, always ready to help or give you any recommendations you need. The room was clean, air-conditioner worked well. There's a wonderful sea view from the balcony. The location is good: the bus stop is right next to the hotel and it's ten minutes walk to the beach. Benitses is a village, but we enjoyed our holiday there more than in Corfu city. It's cheaper, quieter, and less crowded.
Hotel Benitsa is in a really nice (touristic) town with good bus links to Corfu town and beyond. There are nice restaurants, a decent beach, and clean sea water. The hotel had a clean bathroom, wardrobe space, a desk, mini fridge and air con. The owner, Thanasis, was very kind and helpful and always reachable.
