This was my 6th visit to Corfu and my first time to Ermones. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location with great views of the sea and mountains. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from all the staff which continued throughout our stay. The pool area is very well played out with great sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool is clean, warm and inviting. There is a smaller pool ideal for children. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. We enjoyed great food around the pool area and again in the taverna down the hill that belongs to other members of the family. This point is what makes this hotel stand out over many others. The Hotel is a very well run and cared for family business which still has a personal touch to everything. The rooms were of a good size, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms where everything works as it should. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. The location is fantastic, right in the old town of Corfu. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a lot of choice and was delicious.

The beachfront Iliada Beach Hotel is located in the village of Gouvia, 7 km away from the main town of Corfu. It offers comfortable rooms with balcony and includes 2 restaurants and a bar.

Located right next to the beach in Gouvia, set in lovely grounds and gardens and close to bus service, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful, our flight home was in the evening and because we had to vacate our room at midday they looked after our luggage for us and even let us use their shower facility after spending our last day on the beach. We would definitely use the Iliada Hotel again.

Maltezos Hotel is a small family run hotel located in Gouvia, 250 metres from the beach. It provides a large swimming pool with plenty of free sun beds and umbrellas.

Gouvia is very well located, you are easily connected to a lot of areas if you have a car or scooter. The hotel yard and the pool area looks amazing, the olive trees are lovely. The rooms were better than expected, very clean, the air conditioning was working well, the wifi too. The ladies came to clean everyday. Smoking is permited on the balcony. All the staff was so nice, they were smiling all the time and they were so helpful. The 2 gentlemen from the bar were amazing persons.
