The staff were excellent . Breakfast was fantastic with amazing views. The walk into town was very pleasant once we discovered the road opposite this had better footpaths . Leo Hotel is in an excellent location just near the old port. It is a beautiful old Venetian building which has been lovingly restored. My room was large and completely soundproof from the street which meant I had uninterrupted nights' sleep. The bed was king size and so comfortable I slept so well the entire stay. Eleni the owner and proprietress was so helpful and full of great advice - it was such a pleasure to meet her.

Really great location within center of Rethymno Old Town, yes the parking is a bit challenging or expensive, but we were able to park for free within 10 minutes walk. Well, this is quite old building with rooms oriented to inner yard, where is really nice pool. The room quality is OK - considering the age of the building and the pool is really nice with plenty of sun. There are tables and sunbeds around the pool, some inflatables are provided. The hotel is really in center of everything you can find in Rethymno - taverns, bars, clubs - everything is in very close distance.

Dyo Suites is located in Rethymno Town, just steps from the sandy beach and a 16-minute walk from the scenic old town.

Attractive, quiet room in old style building ie a separate room on the flat roof of the building. The shower was big and not hand-held - which seems rare in Crete. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for restaurants - we picked one and it was excellent. The location is excellent. It is very close to the old town but is not in the area of noisy tourist mayhem. Parking is in a nearby paid car park. It's a reasonably easy drive into town from the west.
