Beautiful, small hotel built according to the traditional architecture of Arachova. For those who are not looking for luxury and the fancy, but something economical with a local character, it is the best choice. Its location is amazing and the puplic free parking 100 meters away.

The breakfast was great and the location is wonderful. Unfortunately it was quite windy and cool so we only got to have breakfast on the deck our last morning.
Tina and Yanni were very wonderful hosts and we would recommend a stay at Almond House as the room was very confortable, spacious and clean and the views are exceptional!

Arachova is a pretty mountain tourist village which is only a short drive from Delphi, giving you the chance to arrive early and/or stay until closing to avoid the crowds. Good restaurants (recommend The Agnantio Taverna for traditional food) and variety of shops.
There is plenty of accommodation to choose from in this area. We stayed in Kastalia Country Home, a lovely rural holiday apartment within walking distance of the center.
Besides Delphi, we visited the very impressive Corycian Cave which is well worth a visit (but the dirt road is bad) and Hosios Loukas monastery.

Very nice village, many restaurants and shops. The view is beautiful. Usually people that visit there are going to Delphi archeological site too. Not much to do it the village itself more than a day if you are not in the winter in the skiing season

Charming village with traditional stone houses. Sample local products (local cheese called formaela, pasta, sweets, cheeses, wood products, woven rugs). Park outside of the town as only one road passes through and it's narrow. It gets crowded at night and on weekends especially during the ski season. Walking is best here!

Right in the heart of Arachova this was the coziest place...
Right in the heart of Arachova this was the coziest place I’ve ever been to! It was so comfortable. Not only did the style of the inn and rooms make you feel like never wanting to leave but the staff made you feel right at home. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by the sweet smell of cinnamon and smiling faces. It’s comfortably warm all the time but if you can, get a room with a fireplace. It will be prepared for you every day for your whole stay, all you have to do is light a match and sit cozily by the fire. It truly was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone to stay at Afanos!

The place is very sweet village. Nearby Delphi for the Temple of Apollo. Great restaurants and little shops. Near Galaxidi for secluded beaches too. Lived our stay at Nefeles and such lovely hosts. Great breakfast and recommendations
If you drive and love peace and quiet, it would be a perfect choice for you in Arachova. Just 10 min drive from the village center, convenient parking at the Hotel, gorgeous view from the room terrace, lovely house, helpful Host with the recommendation about best tavernas in the villages, tranquillity in the night time - all these make this Hotel very cosy and comfortable. We did not try breakfast because wanted to get to Delphi as earlier as possible, and breakfast was available only from 8 a.m. Recommended.
Beautiful little place in picturesque Arachova, an excellent base to explore Delphi. Very attentive hotel staff, beautifully designed building, and nice view from the spotless room. Breakfast was spectacular and everything was delicious, homemade and/or local - the only problem was how much food there was! We ate as much as we could but still sadly left so much food behind - hoping it didn't go to waste. Great location along the main strip of Arachova, walking distance to excellent restaurants and shops.
Very nice hotel with a good situation. Quiet (even durind Easter period and feasts of Saint Georges / Orthodox calendar, pay attention) but not far from all facilities, shops, tavernas, ... and the center of Arachova. May be a bit difficult to find a parking area during this period but we had no problem. Very large and clean room with a beautiful mountain view. Buffet for Breakfast, all U need.and delicious. We'll be back. Close to the archaeological site (and village) of Delphes.
