We traveled to Alikanas for a friends wedding and stayed at the Zante Nest.
Perfect location surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The beach was a few minutes walk away.
It had a lovely relaxing pool area and bar, which served food and drinks. Both food and drinks were very good quality, plenty of choice and good value.
The room was basic but had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable, including a private balcony! Hairdryer and iron were available to borrow from the bar area.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we're so glad we booked here and would definitely return if in the area again.

Good location , newly refurbished areas excellent. Lovely pool area and bar Good Air con in rooms . Friendly helpful people and excellent value Greek night on a Monday night. Linen & Towels changed regularly .

This was mine and my boyfriends first holiday and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. From the hosts to the room everything was incredible. The room had everything we needed, the kitchen was a decent size with all the right equipment if you wanted to cook a meal rather than eating out, which is what we did for a couple nights. The room had a double bed and also a smaller mattress which you could use as a sofa and they were both so comfortable. Our room also had a balcony with a table and chairs which we sat on often as the sea view was amazing.
The room and bathroom was also spotless from the first day and was cleaned very often as well as a change of towels and sheets which was done almost every day.
Overall our experience was the absolute best and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and always made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back again!

retains an element of the farming area, soon
to be lost as it’s concreted over. It’s probably got all the rooms and eateries it will ever needbut when did that ever stop progress ?
Fab sandy beach and shallow harbour. Enough nice walking in all directions.
Perhaps there was a Obese’n Inky Festival taking place on the week I visited, way too many wide loads pavement blocking, desperately searching for another fill up !

We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar and restaurant and when we occasionally ate out of an evening we liked the Lemon Tree Taverna just 200m from the apartment. Alikanas is easy to get around and has a couple of reasonable supermarkets and tourist shops. It has a pharmacy and a private emergency medical centre.

Home away from home.
Home away from home. Whether you've visited multiple times or for your first trip you will be treated as a long lost friend throughout the resort. Every restaurant and bar has it's own special charm but all are worth a visit. Many bars and hotels allow you to use their pool and facilities. Alykanas beach is a shallow, sheltered cove and Rasa provides a more remote but picturesque alternative. Shoestrings is certainly worth the walk.

This is our 3rd time in Alikanas, its such a lovely location its lovely and flat for people to get around you can walk straight onto the beach from the road there is plenty to do and plenty to see with the locals willing to help they are very friendly. The views are amazing, its only a short drive from the airport which is good.

Loads of choices to eat and drink and prices very reasonable. Main Courses between 8 -12 euros and lunchtime Gyros €3.50. People so friendly and welcoming - we will be back - hopefully for longer than a week next time - super place.

Perfect location for both older visitors and those with children. As the resort is mostly flat. Lots of choice of restaurants and also a choice of beach front bars/kitchens. All businesses are perfect hosts.
Warm welcoming Greek family - kindly helping fill all your vacation needs. Cousy and clean apartments located with private terrace to the mountain view.. all just few steps from the beautiful blue bay. The beach full of nice sand, sun beds, beach bars, plenty of water attractions. Lots of traditional Greek restaurants, taverns and bars offers great variety of food and drinks can be reached by feet in jus few mins in both direction as the apartments lies between two shore villages. Great stay and big thanks to the owners of Kamara apartments.
We traveled as a family of four and we were staying in the riverside apartments. It was absolutely perfekt. The villa has it´s own sunbeds with umbrella you can use, so at the beach in front of villa are just people who are staying there. If you prefer something else, there are a lot of different beaches nearby the accommodation.
Yannis and his family were amazing. He arranged for us transport from the airport, it was really helpful.
And you will love their dog Kanela! :)
So it was awesome. I believe that i will come back someday !
- Anemomylos is the best price/value accommodation you'll find in Laganas.
- Nikos, the host, was always super attentive and gave very good tips.
- By staying at Anemomylos, you can access most pool areas in the village at no extra cost.
- The room has a lot of light and had a very nice terrace.
- The hotel is near restaurants and just 5 mins away from the beach.
- Cleaning came in mostly every day, and sheets/towels were changed regularly.
Absolutely excellent value for money. We stayed there for one week, everyday was cleaning service so rooms were super clean. We had amazing view for the mountains, area was calm but was very near to shops, restaurants and beautiful beach. The best was service - staff was so helpful and kind - they arranged every our need. I hope visit Zakynthos again and then for sure I will choose Dennis Studios ♥️
The apartment has everything ones need in vacation, including washing machine. We enjoyed our stay very much, the place is silent, the view is beautiful (with olive trees, hills and sun). The Alikanas sandy beach is close, 400m. We heard the roosters in the morning, and the eggs from Gogo's mother were delicious. We would choose this apartment again, if we revisit Zakynthos.
Everything was fantastic. Andy, Dennis and Theo are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and secluded but 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants, the beach is a short 15 minute walk away.
The rooms are kept very clean, the food is good and the there’s a lovely pool

We stayed with our two years old girl. Everything was great. The appartment was very clean and is located near a small sandy beach. We loved it! The view was amazing. There is also a garden behind the house, where you can sit for a drink or have dinner. We would visit again.
Lovely place, everything was new and well cleaned. near to the beach ( 2 min walking ) staff was very frendly. Alykanas Village was nice place for staying, best places of Zakynthos was near it... i will recomand it ! 10
Easy to find location (approx. 20 min drive from Zante town), private parking, the host greeted us and was very pleasant, the room we stayed in was just as expected, clean and comfortable.
The hotel was nice, friendly staff and pools and beach nice….
BUT the food was way below standard, I paid for dinner at your restaurant my family and myself had to go and eat elsewhere.
