If you go there by car they have free carpark. Breakfast was open buffet and had a lot of species. Everthing was delicous. Deck chairs of the pool are comfortable. The location of the hotel is good. Just 2 km to the city center. On the other hand it’s around 10 kö to the nice beach clubs of course you are able to go yo the beach just by crossing the street.
Breakfast is average. Staff and management are very helpfull and smiling people. We had a family room which was big enough for us👍🏽. Room was clean and the beds were good enough to sleep. Aircondions works perfectly👌🏽.

Amazing city - pleasant walks next to the sea, great views, nightlife, delicious food. Restaurants to visit - Zourafa, for amazing sea food, Λούκουλος - with tables next to the sea. You need to make reservations.
Parking is difficult in the center, need to use a paid parking place. You can take a walk on the Apolloniados street that gets closed for cars in the evening.

I guess it is the right city for beach vacations. Not much to do If you are looking for historical attractions I would not rate Alexanroupoli high. It has a few very small museums. Two of them I've visited. It is possible to walk to them. One at the city center ethnography museum. I'd recommend visiting. It won't take a lot of time, but the atmosphere there is nice.
Also, there is a small archeological museum, something like 2,5 km away from the center.
The local tavernas has a tasty food. the prices are reasonable.
The beaches are slightly out of the city, but not too far. Nice sand

A great place for beach life and to explore the area, take a trip off the main drag and explore the mountains and plains for the area , its was busy in the centre off season, prepare for crowds when the summer hits. restaurants in the area are hit and miss with prices around 30 euro for two for a very basic meal ,without alcohol in 2023, want fish or seafood then add a lot more. I cant believe they are still charging 2-3 euro for a small portion of bread which seems to be mandatory, english not spoken everywhere, bring your phase book. easy access to islands if you can find a place to book your ferry.
The hotel is very close to the city center, near the lighthouse. Within a 5-10 minute walk from all the nice tavernas and the seaside promenade.
The building is modern and well maintained, the breakfast area had lots of natural light and was very clean.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Most of them knew proper English.
Compared to the other options we found in Alexandropoulis, the price was right, especially with an included breakfast.

Rooms are big and quiet, bright and comfortable. Every inch quality through out the facility. Highly recommend this place.
Breakfast is superb, Covid precautions are exceptional and not disturbing.
Also 2 days after we left the hotel, I called the reception to gather some knowledge about the border crossing, as always staff was helpful and quick in helping us the situation.

Perfectly clean and tidy apartment. Very comfortable, too. Great location, 5-10 minute easy walk to all shops-restaurants-seaside, etc. Supermarket very near the house, so it was really practical, too.
If I ever visit Alexandroupolis again, I will stay here. I won't look for another place. Many sincere thanks to the owner! :)
The property is well maintained; while near the city, somehow off the busy life. This gives the place a relaxing mood. Beach narrow but wide and exclusive. My wife’s pictures were questioned by friends, with ‘where are the tourists?’. While the hotel was busy the beach seemed to be free of people. Maybe because the season had just started.
But i would not take it any other way… :).
There were wildfires in Alexandroupoli during our stay. So we had to leave after one night. We didn't see very much. Nevertheless thanks to hotel managent; they promised future accommodation instead of unused reservation.
By the way, hotel has perfect location, big car park, nice beach. Hope to be there again.
perfect location for the port and only a short distance from the airport, bed was super comfy too! Reception staff were also really nice and helpful, have booked the hotel again for my return journey because I liked it so much!
