Our appt was excellently placed for the beach. We also had an exclusive view on Greek Nights (Tuesdays and Saturdays) of all the music, dancing and plate smashing. It was like being in the royal box in a theatre 😄.

We loved our 8-day stay at Villa Conte Rari in the little village of Kato Garouna. You'll definitely need a car for this stay; it's optimally located for day trips in all directions of the island, plus the stunning Agio Gordios beach is just 5-10 minutes away. Very picturesque place with a lot of places to eat and drink. A lot of super markets. The only problem is the narrow street leading to the beach and the absent parking. You have to walk all the way down the hill if you staying at the hotels up there. The beach is sandy with plenty of rocks but the waters are very clean

It is a small village, but there is life out in the streets, luckily not in an annoying way. The street to the beach and the beach are full of restaurants and bars, that are open until midnight. There are a lot of supermarkets as well. You can buy tasty, but cheap gyros pita on the street :D Our favorite night was the Greek night in Romantic Palace restaurant, the staff was very kind.
We spent 2 days on the beach, it is mostly sandy but there are a lot of smaller/bigger rocks, so water shoes are recommended. Every restaurant has sunbeds and umbrella, you can reserve them if you eat and drink at their place (or for ca. 15 euros).
You can find a quite big free parking near the bus stop.

We really enjoyed our visit to Agios Gordios. It’s about a 25 minute taxi ride from Corfu town/airport. The beach is beautiful & there are many nice places to eat & ones offering good deals on sun lounger’s & umbrellas on the beachfront. All of the local people were super friendly & welcoming & the service was very good everywhere we went. It was busy but not packed which was nice, we visited late August & the weather was hot!

Easy to access from airport & close to Corfu Town for day out - worth seeing! Lots of restaurants, bars & cafes in the resort, nice beach, some free sun beds or some within a min spend of €15 euros for two - easy to do! Would go back & explore more next time, boat trips available to neighbouring islands. Friendly people.

This is a great little beach town for a nice escape from busy places.
There is a bit of shopping but not overly touristy. I understand that the bus will take you to Corfu Town but I had already done that and was happy to spend my time at the beach and watching sunsets.

The town was cute and small with many great restaurants. Perfect if you want to spend most of your time at the beach.
Our favorite restaurant was @Ortholithi (at the left cornet of the beach near big rock). It offered tasty local food, had Greek night with performances, and the owners were very kind and welcoming.
In general it was easy to navigate the town. And it had all necessary services - restaurants, guest houses, tours, etc.
The property has everything you need just a 10 minute walk all around. Supermarkets, shops, tavernas, cocktail bars, atms and a bus stop which we used to head into Corfu town one day.
The accommodation was exactly as pictured with a delicious breakfast buffet every morning, beautiful views all around and free sun beds during your stay directly outside.
The owners are very accommodating and helpful and the rooms are cleaned to perfection.
The taxi service made getting to the airport an absolute breeze.
The studio had the most amazing view over Agios Gordios and the sea. It was in an excellent position to enjoy the sunsets. The fly screen on the balcony door meant we did not have any problems with insects. The studio was quite spacious with a very big comfortable bed. The balcony was also large enough to enjoy meals outside.
The terrace is a dream! Waking up next to the sea is beautiful! Nice common space outside with sunbeds, tabled and showers.
Agios Gordios is very cozy, but you will need a car to move around the island. Public transport not so easy from there.
You are 20 meters from the beach and the room has everything you need. I think it's the best accommodation that you can find for the money you pay. Also, I don't think there is a better beach in Corfu!
