Amazing staff! Everybody went over and beyond to make sure we had an awesome stay (we did). Special mention to Laurent who manages breakfast and is absolutely amazing, as well as Stephanie and Bianca at the reception desk.
The hotel is very quiet and only has a few rooms. We didn't see any kid, which added to the feeling of quietness.

Saint Francois has hidden restaurant gems, including some that are not listed on any app but deserve to be recognized.
Special mention to L'Autre Version, which has been totally renovated, is under new management, and has an amazing menu and wine list.
On the negative side, Saint Francois needs to have its roads renovated and add more parking spots.

Enjoyed the fact that it was not a big crowded resort- 8 bungalows and 3 apartments in the main building meant small amount of guests; safe, gated enviroment where privacy and laid back, leisurely passtime was possible. Only drawback, for those who are beach lovers,, the best beach was at the village of St. Anne, about 15-20 minutes drive away, but worth the drive! However, a short drive into Saint-Francois where there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from.
Beware! if you are driving, the locals tend to drive extremely fast on the very narrow and pot hole roads !

Unfortunately much of what St-Francois and Ste-Anne had to offer is lost as a result of all the sargasse seaweed that comes to shore. The smell is horrendous and completely ruined the south and east sides of Grande-Terre. Recommend avoiding.

We loved our location away from traffic and noise.
We loved our location away from traffic and noise. Saint Francois has everything we needed including easy access to the rest of the island of Grande Terre. Lovely restaurants on the marina and nightlife if that's what you want. It is very close to Pointe du Chateau, the easternmost tip of the island which was magnificent and worth the trip.

We have visited St. Francois 3 times and keep coming back. Although the town is not too large it has plenty of restaurants and boats to the other islands run daily. We hire a car but you could get away with a taxi to/from the airport (35km) and the occasional local bus trip.
This hotel was a "little gem" The rooms were well appointed, the view was outstanding, and the concierge was well versed and offered multiple ideas for the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, breakfasts and the afternoon refreshment after a day of exploring the island. The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms are perfectly appointed. We spoke very little English yet we were able to communicate our needs and the staff was very understanding and worked with us to figure out what we needed. Perfect place.
This was a beautiful apartment that reminded me of those beach vacation villages. The host gave us our keys and was always available via WhatsApp and responded quickly to our messages. The appartement had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was lovely, it had a beautiful private beach , pool and seaside restaurant which served delicious food and cocktails. It was also a quick drive to downtown Saint Francois. All in all I highly recommend this place!
Excellent value for money, super available and kind staff. Little beach in the property a real dream (the water looks like a swimming poo), the few food options (breakfast place, restaurant) in the complex are very practical and also good. Parking available at the site, it’s convenient.
In the whole area of Saint François (hence including the complex) they have water supply cut from 20:00 to 5-6:00 the next day - we were duly warned by the manager, so that we could organise accordingly.
Wonderful place. We will be back and will definitely book there again because we’d like to share it with family who couldn’t make this trip. We traveled all over Grande-Terre, exploring the sights, and I feel this was the best part of the island and just a wonderful hotel. I wish we’d had more time! We would have just hung around our bungalow and the pool more, using her grill to cook dinner, etc. Next time we’ll make a point of relaxing more. It’s our new home away from home.
Breakfast was not included, which we clearly understood. We enjoyed dining at the marina, many choices in Sainte-Francois SEASIDE RESTAURANT, hooked us up with NFL game, so we could watch the 49ers! Some of the best fresh grilled fish, mango sorbet, beautiful beaches (like Hawaii). Parking a challenge, managed tho. Deshaies one of our favorite places, love the show, Death in Paradise, lunch at Catherine’s bar!
There was a nice variety offered at breakfast; baked goods and fruit were fresh; hosts were accommodating with breakfast times. During breakfast our personable host Yanick would give us wonderful suggestions of places to visit and things to do on the island. We felt welcomed and safe in their beautiful accommodations and Yanick had a list of restaurant suggestions and took care of making reservations for us.
The apartment is up to date, with good WIFI and air conditioning. It is situated in a nice secured hotel complex, with access to the beach, a swimming pool, and restaurant. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The host, David, was very responsive, helpful and welcoming. The complex is outside the town of Saint Francois, so it's probably best to have a car for your own transportation.
Very nice apartment with good facilities, right on the marina with a great view over it, reserved parking space, ideal location for taking boat trips to places like Petite Terre which tend to leave very early. Lots of good restaurants on the marina. Pascal is a very friendly host and quick to respond to issues, and gave us lots of advice about what to see on Grande-Terre.

You are in Paradise, right on the ocean. morning and night you can enjoy the sunrise and sundown just seating right in front of the ocean. Great location, closed to Saint Francis and the beach in Saint Anne that we love, and it is perfect for kids. The pool is a must and you have close by restaurants and boulangerie very helpful.
The studio was very comfortable and had up-to-date appliances. There was a nice view to the ocean and we had access to a lovely big pool. The studio was in a complex that was within walking distance of 4 restaurants, and a 5-minute drive to restaurants in Saint Francois.
I liked the relaxed and contemporary atmosphere and decor of the Bwa Chik Hotel. Our room was functional, clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and that was useful for us. The pool was great too especially on a hot day (everyday!)
Modern, clean and quite well equipped. The private beach with lounges available make up the best part of the stay. Drinks and food available on the beach. Large pool if you need with toilets. Arrival with a keylock so anytime check in in the afternoon.
We were only an eight minute drive to the town of St. Francois where we were able to get groceries. It was only a short walk to restaurants. The restaurant on the property was not always open and had a very limited menu.

I like the location of this property. although is was an hour away from the airport, in Saint Francois there was so much to do and the food my the marina was the best .
