Great welcoming staff, lovely pool to relax and cool down, fantastic breakfast including eggs and fruit salad. We were the only guests there as low season and staff very accommodating to our needs. It was the Euro championship final and they made sure some of our party could watch the final on tv.
Rooms were very clean and well care for. Bedding very comfortable on main room.

The staff is welcoming and professional. Sonia and Bibi are great people. Bibi prepared a very early breakfast for our early departure. The rooms are spacious. Very nice view!

The quirky decorated rooftop offers a nice place to lounge and a nice view. The clean room are equally quirky! Very high beds. The girls who work there are great and take care of everything. Breakfast is extensive, try the waffles!

There is hot running water in the room when you need to have a warm shower although most of the time I took a cool shower. I moved here from one of the 'Hotel Castles by the Sea' that were overcrowded and overpriced for the standard of accommodation there. Kotu Island lodge presents a friendly, personal and quiet atmosphere. You can chat with Terry, the owner who is a very nice man. True Gent! Its only a few minutes walk to the beach and you get the great atmosphere of living in amongst the community. I wholly recommend a stay here. Thak you Terry. You are a great host.

Everything was perfect but there is little chance to come back because of the most boring people in Africa you will meet on street on the sunbeds, on the beach, in the supermarket. My brother, my family, one big family, they have no work and they dont want to work, just to bother you. Old laidies like that attention which is awful to see
The hotel is in a prime location on Kotu Beach. The Gambia is a tropical paradise and Palm Beach Hotel is well placed within it. The beach is directly accessible within walking distance at the edge of the premises. Surrounded by lush giant palm trees cascading a beautiful canopy. There is fresh fruit available that is prepared on request and delivered directly to your sun lounge. There is also 24hr security patrols.
