Booking.com should take it off their list. I have got bad asthma because the room smelt damp.
Blinds wouldn't shut.
The bathroom was freezing as windows wouldn't shut. The bathroom radiator didn't work. Thick dust on the bedside table on the bottom shelf. Very dangerous broken glass shades on wsll lights. Tea etc was just thrown on yhe table. No coffee. What would i avoid on my next trip? The hotel itself

The worst place I've ever stayed in.
The worst place I've ever stayed in.
Don't be fooled by the pics, this place is horrendous.
I was sandwiched between 2 asylum seekers - why not house them away from the paying guests?
No food, no drink and completely out the way.
Bloke at reception finished his personal call before he let me check in.

Wickford was a close location to where my final destination was going to be, convenient only mileage wise, but not it's location!! Wickford is a small little town, a few shops, take aways, not a holiday destination, for anyone who is after a holiday feel
What a wonderful hotel in beautiful surroundings….my husband and I stayed for one night and everything you would need for a comfortable stay had been provided for. The hotel and all its rooms have been elegantly decorated and there is an air of tranquility throughout. The staff are most helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again, Thankyou
Hi the accommodation was very good, furniture a bit tired & dated, but we're not 4 in a bed, lighting could of been a bit better as we couldn't see anything within the carpark, I guess the hotel needs some investment, But for £65 a night we couldn't complain
Room was outside on open corridor. The hotel turned into a local party hotel at weekend. We had people banging on our door running off, peeing outside and screaming at 2am. Absolute nitemare. My daughtwr was so scared she slept in with me.
The receptionist was pleasant, very welcoming on first arrival (young lady). The location was great for me, personally, with me having meetings in Wickford and Chelmsford.
