It’s absolutely beautiful. Both of us work in sectors that are heavily involved in art & history so we genuinely love an authentic period property, and the hotel oozes charm from the second you glimpse its façade. Fabulous position on the sea edge with a gorgeous view. We were smitten with the building , and with Dunbar, which we hadn’t visited before but found to be a real gem of a place

An inn and hotel dating back to the late 17th century set in a very attractive village, well within reach of Edinburgh and many other very pleasant locations. Well priced and good value for money. A little dated, but not unexpected as it is well over 300 years old! If back that way, we would be delighted to stay here again.

Loved that the restaurant/pub is right next door from the hotel. The staff were lovely and offered a great service. For children there’s a park and a little play area inside the restaurant which was a great extra to our stay. The breakfast the next day was amazing!

The house was ideally located and easily found. It was just off the main road. It was near to a supermarket, fuel station and restaurant. All within walking distance. We were greeted by the owner who made us very welcome and told us about the room and facilities. The breakfast was good and met our needs. It was all good value for money.
