Although the accommodation was compact (as expected) everything was to a high standard: very comfy beds, good linen and towels, well equipped shower room, and lots of thoughtful touches, like a wide selection of teas/coffees and fresh Welsh cakes and butter awaiting us on our arrival. The fresh breakfast, delivered at a time we had chosen, was excellent: choice of yoghurts, big bowl of fresh fruit, granola/muesli, warm French bread, fresh croissants and selection of jams. Isobel was lovely, very friendly and helpful.
With an elegant restaurant, The Golden Lion Inn offers boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and Welsh mineral water. The hotel is in Newport, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The room was very comfortable and large with lots of storage. The facilities were great too. Would have liked a walk in shower as I am disabled and my husband had to help me get in the bath to use the shower.
