We were moved into a caravan park because of some issues with the previous guest in the chalet who had to extend the stay. I never stayed in the static caravan before, there was nothing wrong as such with it, but in future would not be my preferred choice. The caravan was pretty much the same size of the chalet booked, fairly clean and furnished. at the same time they tend to be humid. The heating system was pretty good, but once turned off the lose warmth.

The check in/check out process was easy, parking is at the retail park next to the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets near by. Our room was very clean and enough space for family of 3 with 1 dog. Friendly hotel staff.

Uddingston has become quite a lively little town, with lots of cafe's, good range of small shops and restaurants. It has a railway station with good links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Bothwell is only a short distance away and has a lovely little castle and its own range of individual shops and restaurants.

I really loved staying there.
I really loved staying there. Was just down the road from where I was born many years ago but never previously had the opportunity to visit. Plenty of facilities & a nice atmosphere. Nice shops, bars & restaurants. Very easy place to get around & transport to other areas is excellent. The famous Tunnocks factory & bakery store is also situated there.
Everything. We needed to last minute ask for a different room (two separate beds because my wife was sick), and they accommodated us with no extra charge, and it was a perfect room. Everyone was helpful, plus our best dinner meal in Scotland (here a week prior), and they even provided a child's portion of a meal for me to bring to my wife, and allowed us to have breakfast brought up to the room (and hostess even carried it up for me). Room very comfortable, quite, restful. No regrets at all that we choose to stay here.
Awful experience of noise when we arrived so changed room. Awful thereafter in new room with loud music until midnight. Never again and will be doing a trip advisor post. Stayed here some years ago and it was a good experience so came back.
Found the whole experience unpleasant but it is clearly popular so good luck to you. Wont be back. Conversely away from weekends noisy madness, fabulous breakfast. Mixed messages. Wont come back. Sad. We came now and before because we have a family link to Uddingston.
We wanted an apartment rather than a hotel, so that we had our own space to relax between family visits. We chose the location as it was close to the venue for a wedding we were attending. It was reasonably well equipped and suitable for the length of our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, plus it was close to a small grocery shop, bakers, restaurants and take-away outlets.
Booked the hotel for my mum and friend in Saturday as ive been before myself and really enjoyed it. My mum had a great nyt said the food was lovely great nyt but 1 thing did stand out was the staff the couldn't do enough for them nothing was a bother even the cleaners helping them out with there cases. As they have mobility issues. Will defo be booking again.
Started there with work and fondly remembered, now retired, used hotel as first night’s stop to go north on holiday and entertain a local friend to a meal. Campbeltown with friends last night, Tobermory tonight, Kyle of Lochalsh tomorrow night then 3 nights Achiltibuie. A great start at the Angels Hotel.
Super friendly and accommodating staff, absolutely lovely atmosphere and wouldn't think twice before booking again! Room was absolutely gorgeous with very comfortable bed and nice shower. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Uddingston.
Clean and comfortable. All necessary items in the kitchen. The shower had plenty of hot water and soft towels were provided. WiFi was available also. Nice decor and living area pleasant.
I had a large room. The service was very friendly.
This is really more a pub/restaurant that also has rooms, rather than a hotel; this is in a way quite charming.
