The suite was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We could not have asked for better. We had a really relaxed time at the Glen Mona Hotel. Our bed was very comfortable and bathroom/shower was clean and spacious. Tea/coffee and biscuits were provided with fresh milk in the fridge. The suite, that we stayed in, was simply superb.

A good location for attractions in the north of the island.

A good location for attractions in the north of the island. It is situated right on the A3, which motorists as well as bikers drive fast on - just be aware of this as you leave the cottage. Just over half an hours drive from Douglas.

Easy access to Sulby Glen, Snaefel as well as Ramsey and the north of the island. Situated on main road to Douglas and the south/west of the island but is on the TT course so you'll need to take road closures in to account if you're staying during TT/Manx G.P. periods. Vehicle is definitely needed, not many places to eat locally.

Ballacowell is a lovely Bed and Breakfast in Sulby.

Ballacowell is a lovely Bed and Breakfast in Sulby. It is convenient for car drivers but it is also on a bus route. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. They made us feel very comfortable and special. The use of a lounge was important to us and was very comfortable. The garden was easily accessible and a lovely tranquil environment to relax in. It exceeded all our expectations.

Sulby is lovely - small village set close to the Tholt-y-will valley with 2 good pubs both doing good food. Good walking in the area including Tholt-y-will valley, the Curraghs (see the Wallabies), Cronk Sumark hill, the old railway line footpath from Ramsey to Peel. Not far from the lovely Wild Life Park.

You will need a car to get around and although we didn't order anything there are local restaurants that will deliver. Nice restaurants in Ramsey though and worth the trip which is only 10 minutes away. Discovered some places that we should visit more often. Also some great walks to explore.
