Booked to stay here last month on arrival nobody was there, phoned a number attached to here 020 number which I think was booking.com call centre was told I would be issued a refund.
Got an email next day saying I would be getting refunded £4 for cancelling my stay.

What a little gem of a find ! Room with awesome view of the hills & countryside. The room was modern with comfy bed. Host gave us some amazing recommendations for food and sight seeing day trips ! Easy access to the major routes. Dingwall in next village had large Tesco for supplies. Small touches in room were appreciated. Hosts were lovely and good directions to reach property. We felt like family !

We arrived late at night 9:45pm - having visited family locally - for one nights "convenient stop" with our dog.
The self check in was straightforward and the room had everything we needed, plus breakfast bowls.
There is a communal lounge available for use.
Although we are both, thankfully, fit, we had a wet room which seemed to cater well for those with disabilities; plenty of grab rails, folding seat next to the shower etc.
Tulloch Castle Hotel, a 12th-century-castle set in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, a 5-minute drive to the centre of Dingwall, offers a 24-hour front desk, a bar and a restaurant.

We liked the beautiful exterior, the mazelike interior, the comfortable room itself, and the location (high up on the hillside, quiet).

Lovely village with Victorian architecture.
Lovely village with Victorian architecture. The small gift shop in the square has many unusual local items for purchase. Our meals at the Ben Wyvis Hotel were excellent and we heard good reviews about the deli on the square. Castle Leod was very interesting. The area is know for it’s beautiful walking areas. Many interesting areas within easy driving range.

A delightful little village, friendly.
A delightful little village, friendly. Superb cafes; The Deli and Unwined, were great, good food and staff. There is also a lovely Sweet shop, all central. You need to go out of Strathpeffer for views as it is hidden in the valley. A lot here for a small place.

Accomadation was wonderfully clean, warm and very quiet as well as peaceful. The only issue we had was the parking spot is clearly marked but the lodge could do with a sign from car park pointing you in right direction. (you go between the two lodges in car park down a path to get access to eagle and otter lodges. Apart from that if you are disabled try to get the other lodges it is downa gravel path and not so easy for crutches and a mobility scooter will struggle on the gravel. But I would still highly recommend these properties to anyone wanting a peaceful, stay.

Excellent facilities in the village centre.
Excellent facilities in the village centre. We used the village shop and also the Chinese takeaway, but the Deli in the square is also highly rated, although we didn't use it ourselves. The village itself is very picturesque and ideal for local walks and also as a base for wider excursions.

Strathpeffer is an idyllic setting in the highlands of Scotland. A quite place to relax and get close to nature. Walking around the town is interesting enough or a pleasant stroll in the hills easily accessed.
This is an older hotel I suspect on the Highland bus tour route.. the rooms are of classic Scottish vogue tartan rooms etc. But you still have your facilities in room t.v. tea making etc having stayed here years before it held no unpleasant surprises the staff were welcoming and cheerful as ever Strathpeffer is beautiful wee place! And you're just yards from a great eatery!
The bed was so comfortable. The house is very well presented and the view on it's own is worth every penny. The hosts are a lovely couple with 2 children and will go extra mile to make sure your stay is relaxed and enjoyable. Strathpeffer is a small village, but very well appointed cafe and wine bar for lovely food, drinks and coffee served all day.
A lovely building, and we were lucky enough to catch a Scottish musician performing at the lounge. While the route to the room in the far corner of the 3rd floor was long and winding, it was fascinating to see more of the unique hotel.
