Sandhead is a small little village by the sea, easily accessible to other sites and villages on the coast. Has everything you need, a friendly pub, beach, a lovely B&B/Hotel Tigh Na Mara, and convenience shop, for us, perfect! Thank you will recommend & come again.

We liked the fact it was near the sea and attractions.A nice walk along the beach was great. We tended to eat at the hotel as there is no where else in the area to eat but we felt this was the right decision the locals use it as well you need to book a table they will always fit in residence.

Beautiful little place by the beach.

Beautiful little place by the beach. Great for a peaceful getaway Recommend Tigh Na Mara for a great meal. Close to local attractions and Stranraer. Be careful on the single track roads, give way to faster traffic as they know the area
