The owner and he husband were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I've stayed at Rowanbsnk on a few occasions but not since lockdown as my husband had Alzheimers and wasn't able to travel.
Set in Annan, Bridge View is a recently renovated accommodation, 22 km from Caerlaverock Castle and 26 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club.

Lovely apartment, immaculately clean, really comfortable, great facilities, friendly and helpful hosts. Right opposite the friendly Blue Bell Inn. Good base for the Solway coast and wider Dumfries and Galloway.
Set in 18 acres of private parkland, Hetland Hall Hotel serves local produce on its Scottish menu. Overlooking the Solway Firth, this hotel also has an outdoor children’s playground.

The hotel is set in a lovely area and you can see clearly there is a lot of upgrading taking place. Food was nice, rooms were clean and staff were great.
The Old Rectory is a 19th century bed and breakfast building set in the heart of Annan. It is built with the distinctive red sandstone, local to the area. There is free parking near by and free Wi-Fi....

We ate too much the night before to do justice to the breakfast, The menu was extensive and and what we had was good and well presented. Particularly enjoyed the "real" bread.
