Cadillac Kustomz Hotel, hotel in Rothesay

Located in Rothesay, Cadillac Kustomz Hotel features a bar. This guest house provides free private parking, full-day security and free WiFi.

Liked everything about Kustomz hotel. Nowadays with most places being pretty much the same using neutral colours and boring generic yet functional decor it was fantastic to see what all was going on inside after seeing what was going on outside. Guys were super friendly, place was super clean, food was super tasty and the room had everything I needed or required, even an amazing view. If you like Americana, Happy Days, Grease, R&R then this is the place for you. Only regrets are that I didn't get the chance to spend some time in the bar at the weekend, and that a Burnout in the charger Bo & Luke Duke style along the waterfront wasnae included wae the breakfast. 10/10 easily.

A typical seaside town that is struggling but the shops that are open were really good and the staff friendly and helpful. Rothesay and Bute is very clean with little road issues and many places to park (free :-)) to enjoy the wonderful countryside. Whilst Rothesay is the main town it is well worth taking the bus tour as Ian is very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the island and its history. The food places (especially the Kettledrum) are good with reasonably priced food. There is also a sandwich bar in the town which makes sandwiches to order using bread baked on the premises.

I recently visited Rothesay on the Isle of Bute and had a pleasant stay. The journey from Glasgow was seamless, with convenient train and ferry connections. Rothesay is wonderfully quiet, offering excellent views of the bay that make for a peaceful retreat. While there aren't any beaches, the scenery is beautiful. One downside was that many restaurants were closed during my visit, and there weren't many tourists around. Overall, Rothesay is a tranquil destination perfect for those seeking a serene escape with stunning bay views.

Rothesay is a beautifal town located on the Isle of Bute.

Rothesay is a beautifal town located on the Isle of Bute. There is plenty to do over a few days. We rented e-bikes and checked out the whole island, from Kilchatten Bay to Ettrick Bay and the town of Rothesay itself. The castle is worth a visit, and if you're lucky you can spot HMS Hoods Anchor just north of the town. Food options are somewhat scarce on the island, pub grub and takeaways are the only things available (there is Bute Yard which hosts pop up kitchens - wholly recommend this place, but I think they operate seasonally).

Rothesay is simply somewhere to chill for few days, yes it's quiet, but if you're of a certain age, this is perfect. Plenty nice pubs/restaurants to try. Isle of Bute has so many hidden treasures. I recommend the Tour bus, nice walks to Lighthouse, Ardbeg, where there is an amazing American diner, Kerrycroy and Ascog are lovely villages to visit too. U can also now take a speedboat ride

I've been coming to Rothesay since 1977, I have a love that will endure forever with Bute. I suppose only thing they need is a Cinema/theatre. Once the Pavillion is fully renovated will definitely attract more visitors

The location was fab, so central for everything. Apartment was spotless and very spacious with windows you could open for lovely Rothesay air. Appliances seemed like brand new and were very easy to work! Bathroom and kitchen were exceptional and finished to a very high standard. I left my hat in the apartment and contacted owner to ask if it had been found and it was sent to me a couple of days later. Such a kind thing to do and I was so grateful. Exceptional service and accommodation!

The view of the house and the room stood out. On top of a hill in the heart of the town of Rothesay in a traditional gorgeous big house is a thrill. The shower was excellent in a bathroom with a variety of marble, the size of your room. In between was a kind of pantry for coffee and tea, with a microwave. Staff was very friendly and willing to help you out for finding a place to have dinner. Parking on top of the hill next to the house is very useful.

Everything. The location was perfect, right across from the water, and within walking distance to Rothesay. The house itself is roomy and has everything you could want. The grounds are spacious and Carolynn and John encourage you to play on the front lawn with the various garden games they provide in the shed next to the house. They are very kind and provide little touches such as milk and biscuits, shampoo and conditioner and even disposable barbecues.

The Victoria Hotel on the Isle of Bute offers a prime location with its breathtaking marina and ocean views, especially from the lounge dining area where you can truly appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Our room was on the 2nd floor; do note that the hotel does not have a lift, which wasn't a problem for us but might be worth considering for those with mobility issues.

Location and the staff where excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They made the hotel stay enjoyable. Special mention for Sophie in the bar/restaurant. Also for Chris again bar/restaurant who is a shinning example of how customer service should be delivered. Bespoke should appreciate what an asset he is to the company.

Host Jane was simply lovely. Hotel similar. Breakfast wonderful. If there was one tiny let down the shower was a but like a warmer Scottish coastal drizzle but I am nit picking. Do go there as it seems that Rothesay needs a lot of support as it seems to be fading away.

Terrific hotel and hosts, really accommodating. We went with our 2-year old and made to feel very welcome - a very cosy family feel. Also ideal location for exploring and for getting into Rothesay for dinner. Will definitely be going back when next on Bute. Thank you!
