The owner was really friendly and offered us a lift to the station even. The paly was spotless. we didn't use the hot tub in the end but it was open to lovely views. We even had tea/coffee/milk and breakfast items left for us

The setting of the hotel and garden is beautiful. The welcome glass of bubbly made us feel special and we found all the staff helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and well cooked and presented in nice dining room. Our room was beautiful although neither of us understand the concept of a free standing bathtub in the window! Fortunately there was also an excellent walk in shower en suite

Breakfast wonderful, lovely selection, staff kind polite and helpful (especially Molly on front desk). Room had the usual amenities, comfy bed and ability to order room service (also lovely and easy to do) as well as snacks on front desk available for purchase.
