We stayed here while visiting giant's causeway and other coastal sites. I would have been happier with a more "Irish town". Portrush was much more of a beach town. Crowded with tourists, boardwalk rides and activities, hard to get in to restaurants, etc. We weren't there for a beach vacation so I can't say what the beaches were like. I can say it wasn't exactly warm even though it was August

Lovely place to stay, great restaurants and lots to do.
Lovely place to stay, great restaurants and lots to do. Accommodation was first class, would have to be my most favorite place of my trip. Portrush is very easy to get around walking, with many attractions close on hand. We picked location so we could have easy access to the Antrim Coast.

We were there for the air show so it was pretty busy.
We were there for the air show so it was pretty busy. I am not sure if there would have been enough for us as adults to do if we hadn’t been there for an event. We had dinner in 55 North and in the Port Hotel both of which were excellent but they were very busy but as we had already booked our tables we hadn’t any issues. I would advise making bookings for your tables to avoid disappointment.
Great hotel in a central location in Portrush - everything is walkable within the town and it boasts great coastal views. Staff were excellent, really friendly & helpful for getting parked overnight. The family room was very spacious and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a hot buffet option. All good & would stay again.
Extremely generous host, great communication, amazed by the soft touches provided for guests. The flat is located in a central area and close to main sights in Portrush. I feel lucky to have been able to stay in Port Pour Deux and will be glad to stay here again if I return.
The family room was value for money, clean & comfortable. The included breakfast was great. Friendly staff & a handy location made our stay enjoyable. We would recommend The Port Hotel as good value for money if you want to enjoy The Antrim Coast.
excellent location near the harbour. The place was quite modern and very clean. Teresa was very helpful and welcoming. Great car parking at the rear of the property. A great place to stay on Portrush.
