Recently refurbished to a high standard, with quality furnishings and fittings. Located right near the Quay, with many bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. We had a room at the rear which was quiet, spacious and comfortable. The host was great with commications, ie parking etc. We will stay here again.
With scenic views across Poole Harbour, this hotel offers boutique rooms, Asian Ocean Palace and The Amalfi View Restaurants and stylish cocktail bar. Poole Ferry Terminal is 15 minutes away by car.

The quay is lovely, with lots of good places to eat.
The quay is lovely, with lots of good places to eat. If you're lucky you can park on the street for free, if not, the quay mulitstorey is reasonably priced.
It's 30 minutes from RSPB Arne, which we spent 3 days at & didn't manage to explore all of it.
You can walk to the quay to get the ferry to Brownsea to see the Red Squirrels, or go on other boat trips.
It's an hour from Portland Bill & Chesil beach

The really good thing about Rockley Park is that if you have a dog, which we did, then Ham Common is adjacent to the site so great for dog walks/exercise.
We didn't go into Poole this time but know from experience that Poole Quay gives you access to harbour trips and Brownsea Island.

The RNLI College location in Poole was amazing.
The RNLI College location in Poole was amazing. There is a lovely walk along the harbour with many places to eat or just have a coffee. We had a meal near the Old Customs House, with lovely views across the harbour.

We loved the Quay, we loved the Old Town, we loved going to Lulworth Cove, going to Swanage on the Steam Train, Corfe Castle, we did the lot. The only thing to be careful of is parking and parking fees. They are a huge expense. And one of our most favourite visit was the RNLI College. We have always supported them.

The Poole Quay area is absolutely stunning - so many places to eat and drink. The cruises run from the Quay are well worth trying as the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend the following - Brownsea Island visit, Jurassic Coastline cruise, and particularly the Sea Train Cruise (Sail to Swanage - then steam train ride to Corfe Castle)

The quayside was nice but there is a fairly rundown feel to the shopping areas. We had a lovely meal at Da Vinci's right on the water - service and food was great! Highly recommend. Went to Rockfish as well and the waitress there was super - bottomless chips!! We also visited Wesley's Community Cafe which we thought was a brilliant use of space and a great idea to take home to Australia.
The room was attractive and comfortable and a better size than I expected from the website. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was ideally located for the reason for our visit - a function at the Guildhall - and also for exploring old Poole. We enjoyed our visit and would stay at the Antelope again
The staff was friendly, the room clean and comfortable. I liked the communal spaces, where the decor was homely and some snacks were available. The position is quite good, considering that the hotel is just a few minutes drive away from Poole high street.
The location is stunning. A heritage hotel which is right on the beach with the waves lapping below the restaurant terrace and the poolside area. Stunning views over the entrance to Poole Harbour. Lots of activity to watch passing by.
A really great location. The staff were really friendly and super helpful. We booked Hotel du Vin to go for more luxury than the average hotel to get a good sleep before our ferry.
location was good on Poole Quay close to restaurants and bars. and they agreed to refund our second night when we decided to cancel it as the hotel wasn’t a nice place to stay.
