As the weather was good the courtyard with seats was well used and an opportunity to talk to other guests.

We stay here every few months en route from Aberdeen to Heysham. Convenient location at the service station. Free parking, helpful staff, comfortable room with good WiFi, ensuite shower room and surprisingly quiet considering the location. Good value.

The setting for the cottages is idyllically peaceful with hills to climb, stunning walks from the doorstep and a stream running literally by the window of our cottage , no 4. Our 2 little dogs were made welcome and we were blessed with glorious sunshine, will definitely return.
