Amazing boutique hotel with lots of character. Very tastefully refurbished. The food was amazing , both the dinner and the breakfast. I 100 % recommend to visit this hotel . We stayed there on our way to the Scottish Highlands and it was perfect

All good , the only thing I would point out was the fried breakfast was slightly overcooked, but dinner was very good. Bedroom was compact but functional. No chairs in the bedroom and the television was very small. I don't like sitting on the bed to watch television, so maybe just me. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in, good quality towels in the en-suite, and plenty shampoo, conditioner and hand cream. Wardrobe space was adequate for a nights stay.
I would certainly go again and would recommend for an overnight or weekend stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pitlochry was an incredible small town! We were pleasantly surprised by the great shopping selection, walkability to various local hikes, and delicious food (we highly recommend Explore Chocolate and Saorsa 1875).

The restaurants and nightlife were excellent considering the size of Pitlochry. Reasonable range of shops, not too tacky. Found accommodation relatively expensive compared to cities ie Glasgow, Dundee and on a par with Edinburgh.

Beautiful and friendly.
Beautiful and friendly. The village is lovely with a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants. There are great walks and excellent opportunities for cycling.
There are some interesting shops too and if you're into tweed, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
EV charging is supplied by Charge Scotland - get the app and open an account to make it work. There is a selection of fast and rapid chargers on-site at the train/bus station.
Overall, you get a lovely calming feeling as you walk around.

I would definitely recommend Pitlochry as a place to stay.
I would definitely recommend Pitlochry as a place to stay. Its at the heart of a fantastic part of the world. Mountains, Hills, Glens, Rivers. A gateway to so much more. The town is a great base. Full of places to eat, and a suprising amount of things to do. Just go.
We had a brilliant stay - gorgeous hotel, great setting on a hill overlooking the countryside around Pitlochry, and only a quick walk into the centre of town. We got a bonus upgrade from a classic room to a garden room which is in the new building next to the main hotel, and was all beautiful with our own patio doors opening onto a little garden which was lovely to enjoy in the morning. We had a DBB deal and the food, service, lounge area with fireplace to relax in, was all amazing. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend!!
The property was so nice and clean. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and informative. The owner gave us recommendations for dinner and a beautiful stroll through town. The rooms were large, updated with towel heaters and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious with a large selection. We loved the adorable town with great food and shopping and upon leaving the owner helped us print some needed documents. If we return to Scotland this will definitely be one of our stops!
It is the hotel for a perfect stay. You will be greeted and welcomed personally. The room had a wonderful view of the gorgious garden, in which there was always something to watch. A stay in this hotel alone feels like a vacation. The breakfast is perfect and leaves nothing to be desired. The two hosts are wonderful; very accommodating and have good tips for things to do. Not just for Pitlochry, but for all of Scotland too. I highly recommend this hotel.
I stayed here with family for the Enchanted Forest and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I like the entrance and the grounds to this hotel and was able to get a parking space no problem. Staff were so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great and plenty of selection. I really liked my room although it's not my typical choice of decor, spacious. Easy check-in/check-out. I'd definitely stay here again for sure!
The Arcasaid Hotel B &B in Pitlorchy blew my mind away, what a place, from the outside it did not look good! However, on entering front door the room was large, great beds, shower. Young lady on reception Lara, helped me carry our luggage in to the room! Breakfast was one of the best on our trip in Ireland & Scotland, gave us great directions to a great restaurant in Pitlochry, The Bridge was fantastic!
The public areas were very spacious, especially the breakfast room with a pleasing, open outlook onto the garden. The bedroom was also spacious with a good sized bathroom. There is a long tree lined drive into the hotel, however it took around 8 minutes to reach the Pitlochry main street.
Excellent family owned hotel. The restaurant deserves a 5 star rating and the bonus was the view of the beautiful gardens from this room. The staff could not have been more helpful. We look forward to a return visit and can highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Pitlochry.
On the main road to town five minute walk breakfast was one of the best I’ve had they had everything you could want staff were really helpful I’ve stayed in a lot of different hotels over years visiting Pitlochry but the first place we will be looking for is Westland hotel Pitlochry
Set off the main town the Hotel makes for an enjoyable break in Pitlochryand the surrounding areas. Its an older hotel and showing its age but we upgraded to a suite which was well worth the extra money with modern furniture, comfy bed and great views.
Location. Less than a mile from busy centre of Pitlochry so more peaceful but still accessible. We stayed in Moulin Hotel self catering Cottage. Spacious and well equipped. It was directly opposite the Hotel so good for accessing bar and restaurant.
This hotel was our favorite out of our 10-day stay in Scotland!! It was spotless, well kept, and the owners could not be any nicer. Great recommendation for dinner and they even made our reservation! Cannot recommend enough!!
Pool/ spa.
Location was handy for our needs.
Convenient for Pitlochry shops, bars, restaurants. Ben Vrackie a good walk for those who are able.
Staff are an asset here.
Breakfast was fine. Bar food on offer too.
Lovely hotel with entertainment at the weekend ... Good food and very attentive staff ... Great bar and food service as well as helpful reception ... Pitlochry was a lovely place to stay for a couple of days
Loved the hosts, the setting, their home and fabulous breakfast. Pitlochry is a charming Scottish town worthy of a visit and a stay at the Derrybeg B & B was a highlight of our trip.
Most of all the location. Very convenient for train travel. Staff was amazing in every aspect of my stay, sorry it wasn’t longer. Highly recommend this hotel.
The pool, steam and spa pool were very good and clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It was absolutely amazing!!
