All staff members were very friendly and efficient in their roles. The quality and choice of breakfast was really good. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and I have to say the food is plentiful and very good. Our room overlooking the gold course had an amazing view down the valley and was very comfortable and well equipped

The room was in the main hotel on this stay, comfortable, clean and modern. Staff were incredibly friendly including the manager Mark. Check in by the night clerk was very professional and helpful on both occasions. The food was fantastic, the chef does incredibly well and as an independent hotel nice to have some different flavours in there and lots of options. Wifi also worked well in main hotel so I was able to meet a deadline on a very late project which was great. Bar / restaurant / lounge areas incredibly comfortable and beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

A former mining town, with local shops and amenities. The view from the B&B over the hills/fields/woodlands on the patio area was outstanding. "How Green was my Valley". Can also recommend the Llanfabon Inn for a lovely "pub" meal (appx 2 miles away in the hills)
