Delicious breakfast. Had dinner there the first night and it was lovely.
Nightclub attached to the hotel but didn't get a chance to go this time, or to go for a swim in the pool or use the spa.
I'll be going back to visit family again in that area and will happily stay at the Royal Hotel again.
Staff were lovely, very friendly and Buddy was a surprise (parrot in the bar).

If you plan to walk the hills of Glen Clova, this is the obvious alternative to camping rough! Fortunately, it is a good alternative and the bar and terrace attracts both hotel guests and the wider hill walking community.

Good base for hill walking into Glen Clova and Glen Prosen. As for facilities, I don't think there's much here really except the Hotel Glen Clova, but that has a good cafe/bar and restaurant.
