The accommodation was close to both bridges which meant easy access in all directions. We really enjoyed exploring the island of Anglesey and also lots of places on the mainland. We really enjoyed our holiday. We found lots of lovely places to eat, some inland and others practically on the beach. We had a great time, wished we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved staying here.
We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was fresh and very generous portions. They made our children feel really welcome. A great atmosphere.
We would definitely stay here again.
My favourite thing about Maen Hir would probably be the location. The stars were really clear and it was a great dark sky site. There were owls flying around at night. Absolutely beautiful.

North Wales has plenty to offer and we stayed in Menai for the one night following a 250 mile motorcycle trip up to and around North Wales and Anglesey. There's a nice vibe about the whole town and the connections in and out look well kept.
Superb photo opportunities down under the bridge too!
We travelled down to Menai Bridge for a wedding this weekend, we booked Hiraeth Mon because it was great value for money for the two night stay and we we’re pleasantly surprised when we arrived. An absolutely beautiful flat, well taken care of and very clean. Everything we needed was supplied. Towels, face cloths. Cleaning products also supplied, it was like being at home. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be returning!
In my recent 3 week trip in the U.K., this place stood out by far as the most beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, wonderful place. It was so thoughtfully put together, with so many extra perks and comforts. It is also super convenient for so many wonderful places to visit in Wales, as well as near a town a short walk away with grocery stores, restuarants, bakeries, etc. I can't wait to return and spend more time there.
This is a spotless clean, modern and spacious flat with comfortable beds. The building is very easy to find. We have received sufficient information about flat access and allocated parking space prior to the stay, therefore the check-in and check-out has been smooth. There is a large Waitrose nearby and the location is close to the beautiful Menai Bridge and pier. Would recommend!
The location is excellent, close to Menai Bridge town centre and the Hidden Gardens.
Our Coach House was spacious and overlooked the strait..the views were breathtaking!
The Château offers a good breakfast and I'd recommend their delicious afternoon tea..an abundance of sandwiches, savouries and homemade cakes (and if you can't finish them you can take them home)!
Was staying away for work do lo cation was perfect for me. The location in general is great, right by the Menai bridge so easy access to roads to everywhere. Had a lovely room on top floor, not ideal for people who have mobility issues as there is no lift, but okay for me. Nice bar and good food. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with the accommodation and where to go nearby. They went the extra mile by giving us extra treats, which was very thoughtful.
The view from the bedroom window was spectacular, as was the back garden. Great views of Snowdon and the Menai Bridge from the front garden, especially at sunset.
The location was stunning in the summer it would be perfect for anyone who wanted a lovely hotel to take in the views
Although we didn't have breakfast we did eat there the night before and the food was excellent
Well worth a visit
Key code messaged before arrival, folder with relevant appliances/heating controls, comfy beds, spacious rooms and plenty of parking space, easy access to Beaumaris and wider Anglesey, lovely view of the Menai Strait.
The property was in a quiet location just outside the town. Easily accessible.
The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast as well.
To be fair we were advised, before arriving, that the hotel was in the process of undergoing refurbishment Once this has been completed we are sure our evaluation of the facilities would be much improved.
Fantastic location on the shores of the Menai Strait, just across from Bangor Pier, with views up to Menai bridge, Snowdonia and north to Llandudno.
Meals were very good and excellent bar and wine list.
Great room, especially the bathroom in the turret. View from the Morning Room onto the Menai Strait is lovely. Hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and attentive.
The property is in a great location for exploring Anglesey. It was clean and very welcoming our hosts just couldn’t do enough for us and even dropped us off at Menai Bridge Town!
We chose the B&B option and had some really good breakfasts at the venue. In town for a wedding and the front desk was great at directing us around and ordering a cab for us.
We received a very warm & friendly welcome & the home cooked breakfast was excellent. Would definitely return as it's a perfect place for exploring this area of Anglesey.
Best place to stay in Menai Bridge. New ownership is exceptional - food outstanding, view to die for. Breakfast overlooking the water - what more could you ask for.
