Easy to reach location, close to local nature attractions. Staff were extremely friendly and always went out of their way to ensure you have whatever you want. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Service was great, restaurant facilities are very good where again the service was spot on. Room was great for price, bed extremely comfortable.

We are a group of friends that live opposites sides of the Uk, we met up in Markfield. The house was perfect for what we needed, plenty of bedrooms, large kitchen :gathering area. Nice garden outside seating area although it did rain most if the time we were able to use the terrace and there is even a fun Tiki bar. Leicester is only 5 miles away and we visited Loughborough for the afternoon which was approx 15 mins to drive. Nice town for a stroll around. There is a pub right next door to the property but they did not serve food , but a nice find was the pub 3 mins drive called the Fieldhead, nice menu and good food. And good service. Could have been a few more instructions in the house, as there is an Ağa cooker range which we had to figure out. Diswaher in the end we figured was not working as no water going in but we did not want to mess with it.

Second time staying here as I'm commuting while my son attends the Loughborough Sports Programme. The staff here are excellent - service with a smile, warm and friendly. The rooms I've had have been spacious, clean and comfy, and well equipped (Fan, iron & ironing board), tea and coffee in room. Having a nice fluffy white duvet and decent pillows for a good nights sleep makes such a difference. Everywhere was clean and tidy and not falling to the curse of rooms and hallways being too tired and outdated. Breakfast is good value with plenty of options - a mid range buffet of cereals, breads, pastries, fruit and juices and an a la carte hot breakfast with an endless selection. It is very well placed just off the main motorway, and is quiet and peaceful. My only gripes are the location of plugs to enable phone charging or any power near the bed, but that is minor. We made use of the pub restaurant - and nothing to grumble about at all - service to get the final bill was a bit slow BUT it was busy (saturday night so understandable. All in all it represents excellent value for money coupled with excellent service, having that family feel. When one of the Front of House remembered us from a previous trip and specifically asked about how my son was doing in his sports programme it made us feel even more welcome. It's the little touches like that push this to be a fantastic 3* hotel.

We found it a convenient area to visit for 2 nights whilst visiting Leicester and Bosworth Field. Ate at 2 different pubs which were ok for 'pub grub'. Hotel located on busy main road but access to it on quieter side road.

I chose the back room for my niece and her daughter (3) but that was the wrong thing to do as there was a fight and this was right outside her room and scared them as all they cold here was someone was getting locked into a room We did say at b/ fast and the man said oh yes sorry about that. We then said to the manager who seemed surprised but did discount our room by £50

Used as a short stay whilst visiting our son who works in Leicester. We did not have a lot of time to explore area but what we did see was very pleasant. There is some very nice countryside in the area and we particularly enjoyed our walk in Bradgate Park.

I was very late to arrive at the hotel due to Motorway delays/closures but Shannon Ethell, duty manager, was excellent in managing my late arrival. I cannot thank her enough for being so understanding.
