Good breakfast but the tables in the hall were cramped and the chairs the wrong height. the set-up for eating in the Bar was much more comfortable.
Dinner menu was very good and we enjoyed the food particularly the curry.

the location was prime for a short family staycation. we were 20 minutes from Dalbeatie, and right on the seafront. excellent for walking and taking in nature. the area is full of cute village feels, with lots of pubs and tea rooms to visit. plenty to do for the little ones also.
