Second visit to Douneside House and we had a wonderful stay. We opted to stay in a one bedroom apartment this time and it was lovely. The grounds are extensive and beautifully kept, lovely to wander around.

Breakfast was very good. Excellent toast. Wide choice of items for a cooked breakfast. Young staff not as efficient as the middle aged staff with the exception of a young dark haired man who told us he had just left school. He was excellent.
