Convenient for the function I was attending and could get there on foot. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the bar was pleasant. Nice friendly staff.

We loved our stay at the Haymarket! Great location—super convenient to public transit hub and very walkable to downtown neighborhoods. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options to suit our family’s tastes.

Unfortunately I wasn't there for pleasure - although it is convenient for visiting Roslyn Church. It is also convenient for taking pets to the University of Edinburgh Royal School of Veterinary Studies & Animal Hospital. If you are a solo traveller it is a very safe and welcoming, comfortable place to stay. Found my way around Loanhead - Shopping outlet nearby.
