The breakfast and evening meal was superb at the Penrhose Arms.
Amply parking, a bar area, restaurant available.
Location is opposite the train station and I found it very peaceful at night.
The owner Steve is an easy and friendly person to talk to with a wealth of knowledge for the area on trains and roads for Anglesey.
I would definitely stay again...

Hotel was not fit for use it was very run down I kept my clothes on all night sat on the bed I didn't want to catch any bug bites.no. Kettle in room had a replacement but didn't work next morning a cleaner gave me another one which was so dirty it should have been thrown away. Everything was past its best . There was no body around to complain too. We didn't want to have the breakfast in case we became sick. The website pictures do not reflect how rundown it is .I would never return it was a disgrace to have people in there.we had one of the men from the hotel come to our bedroom after 10. Pm to ask us to pay for the meal we had never been ask to pay before we we be checked out.

The hotel is undergoing some refurb, so corridors and rooms are a little tired and dated currently. The bar/restaurant is well decorated though and reception is nice. Do not choose this hotel if you are of limited mobility as there are lots of stairs and no lift. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. I stayed with my son and our dog (Staffy/Rottweiler cross) and we were made to feel very welcome. The food in the bar/restaurant is excellent and there’s plenty of choice. We enjoyed our weekend and were able to fully relax. There’s a good walking route (coastal path) that you can take direct from the hotel, so no need to drive anywhere first, which is great with having the dog with us.

We loved the hotel and its facilities and we had both breakfast and dinner there. Very easy to get into the village and love to wander around Pringles - they even had a sale and I bought a few presents and something for myself. Co-op and garage shop easy to reach for any extra food for lunch - although I believe hotel would make up a packed lunch on request. Also loved being able to get onto the coastal path very easily from the hotel. Also getting else where on the island very simple from the hotel. Can't think of anything to avoid and even the parking at the hotel is plentiful. During the day with coach trips the car park in the village can be a bit congested but early or later in the day no problems.
