There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event.
Some shops are closed or are closing in the town.
The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time.
We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow.
We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

Wow...luxury 5 star apartment in the heart of tranquil Kinross. Exquisite furnishings and highest quality finishings throughout the property. Bedrooms in particular were quite stunning worthy of any top end boutique hotel.
The welcome pack and communication also first class. We will definitely return to the wonderful Kinross Reaidence in the future.
Breakfast was excellent. It was all made to order and very tasty.
The room (No 4) was spacious and comfortable. I think its in an old building and there's a slight slope to the floor but it wasn't a problem.
Parking at the front is limited and the extra car parking space at the back requires some manouvering but is possible to use it.
Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable apartment, above the garage of a large modern house. Lovely bathroom. Private entrance. Quiet location and a good base for visiting places of interest in the area.
In a great location near to where I needed to visit. Plenty of parking, the lounge area was nice. The bedroom was spacious, comfy chairs and table were a lovely addition.
