The room was lovely and clean, all very modern. Same with the hotel throughout. Location is beautiful. Even though the weather wasn't great when we stayed, I can imagine the courtyard being a sun trap for having a drink or 3. No cocktail menu available (strange for a 5 star) but can be made on request and tasted good.

The hotel is located on a beautiful setting on the loch. The rooms were big, very warm and inviting.
Dinner was delicious at The Estate Room.
Service was great.
I recommend you spend a couple nights to fully enjoy the hotel and facilities.

Immaculate, spacious bright airy apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Comfortable beds, clean showers and bathrooms. Didn’t have time to try the sauna in the apartment. Excellent polite helpful staff in the office. Amazing views across the loch. Very very peaceful and quiet. Great to stay to cycle to the Rannoch train station and back. If you don’t want to cook for yourself the restaurant in minutes walk away. Lots of water sports and electric bikes to hire.

The hotel is basic but it does what it says on the tin!
A stunning part of Scotland with so much landscape to enjoy.
A stunning part of Scotland with so much landscape to enjoy. Helped by very sunny weather, wildlife everywhere and first class eateries and cafes in abundance - very much an unspoilt area offering genuine opportunities to relax and unwind.

The hosts were so accommodating and lovely.
The hosts were so accommodating and lovely. We had some car trouble and they went out of their way to assist. You will need to book restaurants in advance as there are only a few and they are often booked out. There is a cafe walking distance and one shop but come prepared by bringing your own food and snacks. There was a full kitchen with cutlery and crockery in our accommodation with a tv and a sleeper couch. The view alone is worth staying here

If staying in a self catering place make sure you go with supplies, the nearest big shop is 35 minutes away.
Kinloch Rannoch does have a Country store for your basic stuff but they close early on a Sunday.

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful. Staff very welcoming. Got breakfast is a bit expensive. Dinner in the estate room was fully booked so we had dinners in the Brownie room which had a very small menu but the food was delicious. Spa treatments were amazing and relaxing.

While the location of the hotel is great, the rooms are getting old and we were put in a tiny tiny room, crammed for 3 days. Pool and Spa are fun, however, lots of kids and it would have been better to do family hours/adult hours, as some people come to relax, while children scream and play.
The Estate restaurant had great Venison, but they were a bit stingy on bread, after we asked for a bit more.
I'd recommend staying at the new hotel just 2 miles down the road closer to town, as an alternative. We visited it and it looked pretty amazing with great food and prices.

The accommodation was good, but staff t was the staff that really made this stay enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Plenty of places in the hotel to sit and relax with a wee refreshment and the games provided in the whisky bar a bonus to those looking to relax. Dog and family friendly and everyone well looked after. Will be back.

The Rannoch Nest is a gorgeous apartment. It’s spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfy. it had absolutely everything you could possibly need-we’ve never stayed at a better stocked place! Jane was the perfect host- before the visit she took time to find out what we were interested in doing and sent some really useful links; there was also a generous Welcome Pack waiting for us. Kinloch Rannoch is a great base to explore the area and we’d love to return.
This was a last minute get away. Booked that afternoon and arrived to a lovely welcome. The hotel smells amazing! Very clean and the staircase was crying out for a photograph. The hotel should be proud of their very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you to Ryan for our evening meal service. Thank you to Denzel and especially Matt at breakfast. Freya at reception was very pleasant too.
Our room had a great view and was immaculately clean. Kinloch Rannoch is a hidden gem.
Amazing location. Friendly relaxing atmosphere, staff excellent. Family room (sofa bed made for 14yr son) spacious with nice decor & comfy beds & quality bedding & plenty hospitality supplies. Continental breakfast, dinner in restaurant & also in bar VERY good! We used pool, gym (that looks right on to the Loch), games room & I had 2 great spa treatments & beautiful walk up hill behind hotel. Overall a very nice 2 night treat away. Just what we were needing! Thank you!
Beautiful cottage in lovely Kinloch Rannoch. The house is extremely clean, very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The contact from the caretaker was excellent, staff in the cafe next door extremely helpful and the card & biscuits on arrival very much appreciated. WiFi was superb, TV excellent and beds were very comfortable.
We more than enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer if we could.
Absolutely beautiful Scottish hotel in beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely large room, very comfortable bed, looking onto the loch. Staff are exceptional; professional, cheerful and helpful, a credit to management. Lovely touch on arrival, happy birthday iced on a plate with chocolates and raspberries. Wonderful relaxing weekend despite the weather. Pool, sauna and steam room great.
The location right on Loch Rannoch was prefect! A bit off the beaten path, the hotel was very peaceful and nicely decorated. Since it was rainy during our stay, we didn’t get to enjoy water activities, but the gym was particularly nice. The food was exceptional for both dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Spent 5 nights in Kinloch Rannoch. Fabulous location with good sized, well styled contemporary bedrooms. Traditional style lounge and bar area with open fire is great. Very few exceptional staff - Magdalene in the larder and lovely local girl from kinloch rannoch who is bar supervisor stood out and should be rewarded for their effort.
Lovely hotel. Spacious room and a fold away for our young son. On-site bar and restaurant made delicious drinks and delightful dishes with local produce. Highly recommend for an evening driving through the Scottish countryside. Please continue to stay and eat at these hidden little gems as they are still recovering from Covid impacts.

Although in the hotel itself having a small apartment gave a great feel to being in a home from home. After coming back from a long walk and being told that thee was no food the staff went the extra mile in making sure that we received a small choice and getting something to eat which was really welcomed.
Stayed a few times in the hotel and since then it looks like a complete refurb has taken place and is even nicer now. On this occasion we stayed in the timeshare accommodation which was super. Although there was a hefty flight of stairs to get to Otter 2, the view from the balcony was the best!!!
Spacious, clean and comfy accommodation. Kitchen was impressive and stuffed with all necessary utensils. Location was close to nature and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The view from the balcony was amazing.
The hotel is in a gorgeous location. The rooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A calm, cosy hotel to relax in - would definitely recommend.
very nice and comfortable hotel. Room is very spacious and comfortable.
the whole staff is very friendly and supportive, especially the reception. Would recommend over and over this hotel
The rooms have large windows and covered balconies with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. They provide a discount voucher for breakfast at one of the nearby hotels.
Views are amazing, large comfortable lodge with well equipped kitchen. Warm. Had the option of eating in and we also books dinner one evening in the hotel.
