We arrived late at night 9:45pm - having visited family locally - for one nights "convenient stop" with our dog. The self check in was straightforward and the room had everything we needed, plus breakfast bowls. There is a communal lounge available for use. Although we are both, thankfully, fit, we had a wet room which seemed to cater well for those with disabilities; plenty of grab rails, folding seat next to the shower etc.

Located just 7 miles from the city of Inverness, Old North Inn Hotel, Inverness is just a 20-minute from the famous Loch Ness and Culloden Battlefield.

This was the coziest accommodation I ever stayed in, super clean and we felt right at home the moment we entered the house. The host was one of the most lovely, warm and helpful person we met in Scotland (which is hard because everyone in Scotland was so friendly and kind!) and the breakfast she cooked was delicious! It felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel with the concept of a cozy home and it was run by an old friend! Can 10000% recommend this place and it’s absolutely worth it’s money! I’m definitely staying here again the next time I’m in Scotland ❤️

Location was perfect for us. We were attending a wedding nearby and needed some flexibility regarding check-in times etc, but staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we wanted.

I have stayed a few times this year. The first and second time I was very impressed. This last time I arrived to a filthy carpet and slightly dirty/shabby room. The staff on duty came and looked and moved me and were extremely professional and helpful. (I hate complaining so I really appreciated not having to make a fuss!) The second room was much better but hadn't been hoovered properly as there was several rhinestones from the previous occupant on the carpet, the TV remote batteries were dead and the next room was extremely loud (which isn't the hotels fault) by this time I was too tired to say anything but couldn't be bothered getting out of bed to use the TV to drown out the noise from the next room. I eventually slept about 4am. I was really dissapointed. I had loved my previous stays. When I went down for breakfast it was busy so I didn't bother. From previous visits I can say it's a good breakfast but the coffee isn't great. A better product would be worth the investment in my opinion.
