The nicest couple you could meet. Very attentive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The views are amazing. I enjoyed the conversation and felt welcome from the get go. The bed was comfortable the breakfast spot on. The local pub was friendly and had a good food menu. A lot of attention to detail coffee s teas water. Filter coffee etc. Lovely Hot shower. The location was superb, the owner and staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent in every way. Great views from our room across the sea loch. We loved watching the yachts going through the locks and we also cycled the full length of the canal and other places of interest. Delicious home baking in the Coffee Shop too!

Nothing was too much trouble especially as we had young children and a dog in our party.
Meals, drinks etc were provided exactly as requested. A lovely stay.

Staff were lovely and provided great service. The dining, lounge and bar area's were welcoming and comfortable. We found dinner to be overpriced and bland. Apart from pudding which was delicious. Bedroom in need of a full refurbishment. It felt cold and sparse. No hand towels provided. Intermittent wifi connection.
In summary -
Great staff, beautiful location and lovely building. We would maybe come back if they ever renovate.
