This is a fairly remote location with spectacular scenery, both at the hotel and close by. Apart from nature (and the great food and drink in the hotel) there is not a lot to do. So relaxing is part of the power of the place. Wander around and watch the odd fisherman leave the quay and go out to their fishing boat. Watch the water and sky change at a moments notice. We were there in February so the whole area was relatively quiet, touring the island was easy from there.

Fresh air, views outstanding, people very friendly. Peacefulness. We did struggle a little finding somewhere to eat after 7pm as we are not great fish eaters or meat eaters, apart from that I would love to go back again with my hiking shoes.
We had the most amazing stay and loved every minute. We were made to feel so welcome by all staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food and wine in the evening was incredible and the breakfast was great. The house and it's surroundings are just beautiful. It was one of the stops on our honeymoon and we were made to feel very special throughout our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was definitely the best hotel we stayed in on our trip, so thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.

Loved the location with a view of the lighthouse. it’s a small hotel on Sleat, the. Southern end of the Isle of Skye and we enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was great. The hotel has an art gallery and store next to it. There is a pier in front of the hotel with benches where people can sit and enjoy the view. it has a nice old world charm to it.
We had a lovely time at Duisdale House! The hotel is gorgeous, our room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent!
Honestly, the food at Duisdale House was the highlight of our stay. Dinner was pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. The raspberry soufflé was drop-dead delicious.
The hotel is at a lovely location. Beautiful compact cottage, if slightly dated furniture though the bed was extremely comfortable and the pull out sofa worked well for the kids. The staff were Polite and helpful and the breakfast was sumptuous.
Breakfast was great with warm options as well as a buffet. The rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms. It was a quick drive from the ferry. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful!
Beautiful peaceful location. The hotel has a great ambience with a quiet lounge where you can take your drinks away from the more bustling bar. Food was excellent, especially the breakfast.
