A youth hostel full of youthful energy.
A lovely place on the shore of Loch Ness.
A bunch of young people run the place and do it quite well
The rooms are basic, the showers are excellent, the dining area is clean and overlooks the lake
Overall this is a good place to stay overnight on the Great Glen Way route

Lovely owners, great room with very good quality furnishings, sadly no loo or shower en-suite, but I know this before hand. Good food and breakfast was lovely. Great stay, thank you.

This is a gorgeous quirky property. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was good. Rooms comfortable. Shower was hot.
Foyers House is a small family run adult only guest house on the South side of Loch Ness. Foyers House has an enviable location having one of the highest view points above Loch Ness.

The rooms were a decent size, clean & neat with new furnishings. The shower was a good size too with a static pressure system, meaning you don't get any more or less than what it's been set at, but you also don't get variations in the temperature of the water as other guests are using their showers.
Our room had a view of the loch which we appreciated.
The breakfast was good, with an ample selection & sized serving for a small but well run establishment.
All-in-all, you aren't likely to be disappointed. It's decent value for money, the staff are friendly & it has everything you need for a short stay.

Set in a beautiful location with a balcony overlooking the water ways. Our room had the balcony, big freestanding bath, very small shower and exceptional views. Breakfast wasn't included but you could pre order and pay for one downstairs in the information centre. We did this and found the Breakfast to be excellent. Be careful when it comes to eating in the local area, not many nice restaurants in fort augustus. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend to others. We wouldn't stay again purely based on the late check-in. We think 16:30 is far too late to check-in.

The room is clean, quiet and has it’s own sink. There is a separate toilet across the hall and then a toilet and shower room. There are dinner , packed lunch and breakfast options (you pay extra) and secure bike storage on site (shed is locked). There is a warm cosy bar downstairs and a self catering kitchen and nice dining room. The person at reception was really nice. I slept really well as it was nice and quiet. I paid £57 for a single room and it’s been good value for money.

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation with a great choice of breakfast. The sisters who run the place were really nice and made us so welcome,

I was slightly put off by the owner message that we had to arrive by a certain time for the key to be available. I think it was by 7 pm and it seemed as though she would not make exception for emergencies.

Invermoriston doesn't have anything in it, particularly, other than a nice coffee shop and one really, really good pub/restaurant (the only game in town, but it is luckily a good one). Is it really a "town," per se? Hard to tell. Sort of just a crossroads along driving/hiking routes. But it's very pretty!

Loved everything about it!! Wonderful hosts.
Loved everything about it!! Wonderful hosts. Really friendly, kind and helpful from booking through to the stay. Nothing too much trouble. The studio apartment we stayed in was absolutely spotless and well aired. Really comfy beds and sofa. Very well appointed / well supplied kitchen too (we picked up lovely food for our stay from a decent sized M&S foodhall a few miles away). Bathroom was great too. It's located in a brilliant spot and was perfect for our trip. I would recommend Lann Dearg to anyone. Would definitely book again if in the area, without hesitation. The best of it might actually have been the delight of hearing SO much birdsong!! Birds, like Bees seem to have declined a huge amount since my childhood (I'm 50 and based in England as a child and for the last 10 years) and this was just fantastic to hear. Saw a few birds on the lawn I've not seen for a very long time too. Just loved it. Oooh and the night sky!!
This was a lovely little updated cabin in nature, close to trails, lochs and the nearest city. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The reviews had warned to bring food with us, which we did. We took day trips to Inverness, Isle of Skye and Eileen Donan Castle. This was a great location and cabin for the price. We had worried the cabin would be old and rustic, which it was not. The owners had kept it in good condition, the furniture was new and comfortable. Perfect for two people.
The property itself was spacious, clean and well equipped for a weekend stay - the view from the panoramic window is great, we were able to rustle up some good meals in the kitchen, and the bedrooms were very comfortable for a good night's sleep.
The location itself is secluded and peaceful, but close enough to the nearby villages of Invermoriston and Fort Augustus for a meal, a walk, or picking up any essential shopping.
Amanda and Lynsey are very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable.
Complimentary dram of whisky in the room!
Ideal location for Great Glen Way hikers.
Great care taken over Covid regulations.
Animal and wildlife lovers will be especially happy here.
Terrific breakfast, better than more expensive luxury hotels and B&Bs en route.
Honestly one of the best B&Bs I have used while walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
The most stunning of locations coupled with the lovely self contained studio with everything you need. But best of all is the most welcoming and lovely hosts who greeted me on my way in and took time to show me about . Invermoriston is a quaint n cute little place and the falls …. Literally 2 minutes walk away are quite amazing to see. Perfect stay 🤩
When we were traveling from Inverness to Fort Augustus, we booked this place at Invermoristan, 6 miles prior. We overshot the bus station. When we called to get guidance, we got clear message plus an assurance that if we decide to stay at Fort Augustus, we won't be charged at all. This gesture was very nice
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was great - very friendly and helpful, particularly upon welcome and in the bar. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant also served a delicious dinner. Nice waterfall a short walk away as well. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
. Clean. Relieved there were extra blankets. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. Internet worked well. Adequate selection of choice for breakfast. The house keeper was pleasant. Well located next to a nice hotel with a restaurant. Interesting walking oath closeby.
Loved the location and the nature surrounding the area. Really got some beautiful pictures of the park and the area. The town of Invermoriston is lovely to visit with plenty friendly shop keepers. Great location to travel from to Inverness, Isle of skye and Fort Augustus.
This was the second time we stayed at this accommodation. Everything about our stay was a delight. Staff, meals, comfort and cleanliness was exceptional. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone
Breakfast was really good. Good coffee. The host booked a dinner table for us at the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel in advance, as it is the only place in town to eat dinner and is quickly sold out.
Everything is provided for you - tea, coffee, all cooking utensils. Ample DVD selection too for cozy nights in. Good location for exploring Loch Ness and Inverness. Thank you for hosting us.
Breakfast was wonderful and tailored to our requests. The rooms and bathrooms were large and had a nice tea/snack option. We loved our stop here as we drove from Skye to Inverness.
The location and the friendliness of the staff.
Accommodations are spartan but clean and comfortable.
I would stay again and will certainly recommend it to others.
