The hostess was absolutely lovely and her home is just gorgeous. We were in the Louis room which was clean and spatious with comfortable beds, a stunning view, a big tv and a cute sitting area in front of the windows! Our private bathroom was across the landing, it had a spatious shower and big bath tub. The breakfast was nicely set up and we were offered cooked options. I couldnt recommend this place enough and hope to come back soon ! Thank you so much

A thoroughly surprising B&B - the owner only takes one booking at a time so you are always the only guests. But you're free to come and go as you please and she's a great respecter of privacy.
In the room there's the cleanest, whitest, fluffiest towels I'd ever seen, and a really comfy double (not kingsize) bed. Plenty of tea and coffee, plus hot chocolate and Ovaltine sachets and a great selection of biscuits and choccy biccies.
The listing suggests that the family room contains a seating area and a dining table, when in fact these are in your own private sitting room across the hall, where your delicious and enormous breakfast is also served. This consisted of a great selection of cereals and fruit, followed by a simple but tasty cooked breakfast, all served on beautiful china and crockery. The dining/sitting room is full of antiques and objets d'arts, and is really cosy and welcoming, especially if Liz lights the fire!
The house itself is well located, just a 10/15-minute stroll along the road into the town centre, with the Clyde on one side.

The general impression was the beauty of the houses & gardens. All immaculate ,loved & cared for. Old world charm.
The food was excellent ( Commodore Inn ) Service & quality good. Local cafes good.
Delightful ambience.
Everyone was helpful. Accessibility to Edinbrough by train excellent, even tho for us Aussies rather expensive .$106 for 2 people return.
Accessible to all the scenic places. Loch Lomond, Glen-Coe Stirling Oban & Perth.
I have to mention that the lively couple from the Helensburgh Laundromat were ever so helpful.
if I should ever come back to Scotland I would choose the same location.

Helensburgh is a pretty town with plenty of good eating places and pubs. It has a very picturesque waterfront with ample seating. There is a large leisure centre with gym and a swimming pool or you can just sit in the cafe. There are public toilets on the pier. There are 3 well known supermarkets, but preferably use the local butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. A regular bus service runs through the town, but there is also plenty of free street parking and a couple of good size carparks. Because of its location Helensburgh is a great for exploring further afield.

The apartment was spotless and very well equipped with everything you need ,although we didn’t use cooker it had everything you needed ,a great shower and beds were so comfortable.we had a beautiful sea view and they provided binoculars, books, and games ,I would highly recommended a stay here
James was waiting on arrival and showed me how to operate everything in the flat. We were close to the town for walking and also close to the seafront. Bus stops were right outside the flat. The bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable. There was a breakfast welcome pack and we had all the utensils needed to cook meals. There is a Tesco Express a couple of minutes walk from the flat which was perfect for groceries.
The flat was faultless. It had everything you could possibly need for the stay and the host had also thoughtfully left towels, treats, bowls and blankets for the dog, as well as milk, butter, homemade cookies, coffee pods and even pastries. A lovely touch. There was loads of space and the bed was perfect especially for those with bad backs! It was a great base to visit the area. We would definitely recommend it and would book again.
Apartment is located in an impressive looking building in a lovely, quiet residential crescent with friendly neighbours. The flat itself was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Was nice to cook for ourselves after staying in B&Bs. Managed to get all of our holiday washing done before returning home. A short walk leads to the seafront of Helensburgh which was also a pleasant surprise. Good communication with owner.
Ideally situated in the middle of town adjacent to car park & conveniently close to railway station.
Staff extremely friendly & welcoming. Everyone we met went the extra mile to make our stay perfect.
Comfortable stylish boutique-style bedroom with up-market accessories.
Breakfast choices were extraordinarily good & cooked to perfection.
Very dog friendly property with separate dog-free dining area too.
Great garden and outdoor facilities.
Had dinner in the garden as the weather was perfect.
Use of the large living room with big tv and dinning area.
Room was spot on. We had use of their netflix and youtube.
The big fan in the room was a god send however the house was lovely and cool and clean.
Decent furniture.
Breakfast was spot on.
Couldnt recommend it enough.
Liz has such a beautiful house and ensures you have everything you could ever need! She put out a continental breakfast for us in the morning and there were so many options. Could not have asked for anything else while staying there, if we are ever back in the area we will for sure be staying here!
Excellent apartment and super host. Very good and quiet location, with easy parking and everything we needed in the accommodation. Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family, and we plan to stay again - far more homely and comfortable than a hotel stay.
This is a fabulous hotel situated on the town square. Car parking is next to the hotel.
The bistro below is superb. We had dinner there on Sunday evening and breakfast yesterday morning.
The staff in the both locations were efficient and friendly.
The boutique hotel was lovely- very chic and warmly decorated. Staff was nice and the breakfast in the morning was superb. Wonderfully located in Helensburgh surrounded by plenty of food options. Parking across the street was easy.
Lovely flat, great location, parking outside, nearby to supermarkets and fuel stations, and sunsets over the Clyde. Calvin (the owner) was pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended for exploring this part of Scotland.
The host was fantastic, very helpful in helping me find the apartment, as I did not receive a welcome email it was quite difficult to find.
The apartment is quite spacious and located in the centre of Helensburgh.
The hotel was central. The room was adequate. The parking was on the road outside. Not much chance of getting near the hotel so cases need to be carried quite a distance. No lift and a winding 3 floor staircase.
A beautifully maintained Victorian house that is perfectly located for Helensburgh and Loch Lomond. Lesley was the perfect host and we would certainly stay again if we are in the area.
This palace is amazing, a great location if you want to see proper Scotland (I am originally from Scotland) train station near by for those that don't drive
You must book this place
The location is beautiful, it feels remote, but has easy access to Helensburgh and Loch Lomond. Comfortable room, and large bathroom. Very friendly owners.
