Everything! fantastic location and simply fantastic food. Staff genuinely nice and all looked happy Our dinner can only be described as sublime. Really really enjoyed it the plum and Japanese doughnuts desert new to the menu, amazing.
Our room was so pleasant and comfortable with the chocolate home made cookies the nicest of touches.
Breakfast delicious and I can only say Emma's home made lemon curd the best we've tasted along with strawberry and raspberry jams and not to forget the again home made peanut butter. You will need extra toast and try it all. A perfect night to end our Yorkshire tour before heading home

The people of Halifax were lovely.
The people of Halifax were lovely. It's a great town to wander around and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. We ate at La Luna, who found us a table on a really busy night and gave us great service. The Piece Hall is a great venue and the canal offers a lovely morning walk.

It was a pleasant stay, the room was good for the price, WiFi was excellent but there was a lot of stairs because there is no lift to upper floors, on booking.com there is a false information that there is no parking on site, but when we got there there was a parking across the road for hotel guest for £5 over nights, if this information was stated on the website I would of drive there instead of spending more money on trains,

Beautiful are of West Yorkshire lots of character and charm.
Beautiful are of West Yorkshire lots of character and charm. The Piece Hall is a spectacular piece of history and Architecture which, is being preserved by the trustees imaginative use of the grand space. Shopping, eateries, bars, seasonal events and entertainment. And, now it’s hosting some big name bands and doing really well. Lots of little market towns (Think - last of the summer wine) & historically rich in and around Halifax Town. Lots to do for entertainment if you visit

Supposed to be secured front door only access was a code provided but on arrival doors were open. On message to property they said they will get engineer out as no body as told them. That was not true as we met another guy staying at property and said he had told them several times.
Floor boards up in room letting in slugs and again told them and they said sorry and thanks for letting them know as first time this as happened, again not true as read other reviews.
On arrival were met by a very pleasant young lady.
She told us that we had a superior room.
After taking our payment. We were directed to our room.
The room was very nicely furnished.
Also very clean. With good facilities.
The hotel is located in the centre of Halifax, Close to all amenities.
Bed was very comfy, And we had a good undisturbed nights sleep.
We did not eat at the hotel.
But I have been told the breakfast is excellent.
Would certainly book again.
We were in Halifax for a gig at the Piece Hall.
The location is exceptional for that, being right next to the hall.
The staff were friendly and professional , despite some other guests being quite confrontational and angry with them about the holding deposit. (Which obviously isn’t the staff members fault)
Facilities exactly as advertised. Great room, great food, great staff, and excellent value for money. It's located just a few miles from the M62 in easy reach of Halifax, Huddersfield and surrounding areas.
