Local pub for food (if you are going to/ from pub in the dark, you will need a torch and high vis vests - its very dark and the road is narrow) and lots of walking options in the day.
The weather was rubbish, so our plan to make use of the outside fire pit was scuppered. The privacy of the huts was good with the option of the larger field area for other games. The indoor shared area looked comfortable too.
Would consider returning in the warmer weather.
The beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed was very hard.

The luxury bell tent was all set up before we got there, bedding, cushions ect we actually found that we packed way too much with us! The only thing that we forgot to pack is a personal towel for showers (our own fault) so be sure to pack one!however there are hand towels available in the shared bathroom. We had a lovely time cooking by the fire in the morning after a night of stargazing and seeing shooting stars!! John couldn’t do enough for you! He’s always just a text away or you’ll find him whizzing around with his 2 lovely dogs who were absolutely adorable and love a cuddle. John was super friendly and we loved having a good old chit chat with him we can’t wait to come back 😊

Beautiful Location, and John been extremely helpful
In the centre of Raglan Village, this 16th-century inn is close to the medieval castle, between Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny. It is a 15 minute drive from the M4 and well placed for the A40.

Everything was great, fire was dirty and had to be cleaned before use, lovely location, very quiet, you are connected to the main house, sometimes you can hear the family which for me I don’t like, I prefer to be separated by walls not doors, just my preference.
