Great central location, beautiful and stylish property. Food was delicious. Professional service and some wonderful small gestures which enhance the stay. There is some work going on in the street which they have no control over but we were in a room at the other side of the property and it did not disturb us but this is mentioned in the booking process.

FAQs about hotels in Glasgow

Fun-Loving and Forward Thinking

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.

Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.

As host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is also a city of sport. Scotland’s 2 most iconic football clubs - Celtic and Rangers - are based here, as is the national football stadium Hampden Park. The Scottish Football Museum is also an excellent walk through the beautiful game.

Last but not least is the shopping in Glasgow. Shopping centres cover everything from high street brands to international designers. So when you fly into Glasgow Airport, make sure you’ve left enough space in your bags!

The best thing was the Burrell Collection. great building wonderful setting we spent longer in there than any other museum ever - brilliantly presented lovely art. Kelvingrove was also good and the Mackintosh house - but equally great was walking around the streets and looking at the different neighbourhoods. Oh and student jazz in the pub

Came to see Foo fighters. Easy to get from Govan to Hampden park. 15 mins in a taxi. After the concert no chance, no one would pick up with Uber. We walked to Asda and finally at 2am we got a taxi back to Govan.

I went to Glasgow to attend a conference. So didn't have much time to see touristy areas/places. Would have love to see some museums. It is a halal-friendly city. Easy to find halal food. However we didn't venture to the other side of the main river and I would have love if I have more time in Glasgow. Nice pizza place at West End Road. Also Nice meal at Afrikana.

Loved the local people we met at a pub. They were very nice and friendly. Not as much old architecture to see as Edinburgh although, still a great city! Many site seeing locations are quite far from the city center but, the hop-on-hop-off buses were a nice opportunity.

Lovely, booked couple of nights stay over as holiday was in north Scotland, didn't expect the standard we got. Friendly, helpful staff to the clean room ensuite, great facilities in and out of the hotel, well impressed and the breakfast, wonderful, no rushing lot's of fresh alternatives. We opted for a quiet room, best nights sleep and the price was a bit more than average but worth it, the swimming pool sauna and wet room finished off our short stay over Definitely coming again

Our apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a one week stay. Location is great, right in the city centre. 10 minute walk to Glasgow Central station or the West End. No car park but there is on street parking or a Q-park 2 minutes away. Plenty of shops within walking distance. Housekeeper was lovely, you do need to book your clean but they were more than accommodating. Overall, great value for money compared to neighbouring hotels.

We came in from the airport via the airport express bus and was easily able to walk along the river from the Glasgow city centre. There are also bus services to the hotel so without the need of a car it's fairly easy to get too, comfortable rooms, although they ran a little hot.
