The property is in a fantastic quiet location but easy walking distance to pubs.
The hosts are super- friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had all the information to make our stay as enjoyable as possible,The room was clean and beautifully furnished with a very comfy bed and excellent choice of tea/ coffee making facilities. The bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower.
Kelvin cooked us a superb breakfast - there was a great choice on offer, it’s not every day you are offered tomatoes with a balsamic reduction!

The Beaufort Inn sells good substantial meals. Our 15 year old boy was happy with the quantity and quality. The canal is just up the road. You have one of the few flat walks in the area both ways. There are plenty of other less flat walks around. The Clydach Valley has beech woods. Great in autumn if it is dry. The cinema in Brynmawr is both good and great value.
