A beautiful house, beautifully re-done, in a picturesque setting, close to amazing walks. The staff were warm and personable (and doing absolutely everything at once, by the looks of it!), the place was beautiful and quirky, and had a family feel to it. Dog-friendly, which is key, given the proximity to nature and lovely walks. Stayed here on a whim (it fit our road trip plans), but will be returning on purpose for sure!

The room was pretty and clean. The staff was nice, and I had a good dinner and breakfast. It was fun to stay in a building built in late 19th century. The location is also pretty as it's nestled in the forest, it's calm and you can hear birds sing. I enjoyed my stay!

Breakfast was very good. Excellent toast. Wide choice of items for a cooked breakfast. Young staff not as efficient as the middle aged staff with the exception of a young dark haired man who told us he had just left school. He was excellent.

Great apartment, spacious with lots of extras that are so helpful. Lovely views of the hills. Fab little farm shop and cafe just down the road. Within east reach of Banchory and Stonehaven. Owners very friendly and helpful. There is a folder jam packed with information for visitors.
