It was a nice spacious room with a large bathroom and shower. The bed was big and comfortable and there were facilities for making tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and professional.
The spa facilities were very good, we took maximum advantage of the pool, sauna and steam room.
We had food delivered to our room, portion size was a little skimpy but it was tasty enough.
Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of it.

I live in Falkirk and rented this property for my daughter,...
I live in Falkirk and rented this property for my daughter, There are the newer attractions near by, Kelpies, Falkirk wheel etc yet the town stretches back through history for a few thousand years, 2000 years ago it was the northern most frontier of the Roman empire, The antonine wall is a World Heritage site and runs through the town. The resting place of William Wallace best friend is a little churchyard in the centre of town, where other leaders from "The battle of Falkirk" in 1298 are laid to rest and is a 15 minute journey from Stirling where the Wallace monument and Stirling castle are. For people wanting to see the cities, Falkirk is about equal distance from both Glasgow and Edinburgh with trains that run all day, public transport is great for getting around the main places, though a car would be needed to explore the not so main places that said, most of those are only an hour or two drive away from Falkirk so its a great place to plan a tour of Scotland, or a short term stay, you avoid the bigger tourist places and the bigger tourist prices but get the exact same experience.

Falkirk is a place without pretensions.
Falkirk is a place without pretensions. People are generally friendly and I like wandering around. The museum and gallery are great and so is Callendar Park. The stadium is terrific and would support a team in the top flight.

The Kelpies are a must to see both day & night.
We also ate at a few local restaurants…
Cafe Corvina (Italian)
Sanam (Indian)
Central Perk (British for breakfast)
We were also recommended the Tea house (Chinese) but didn’t have time to eat there due to a short stay.

The Falkirk Wheel & Kelpies is well worth a visit.
The Falkirk Wheel & Kelpies is well worth a visit.
The Boat Trip on the Wheel is good, however you can actually walk the boat route by footpath & it is actually better seeing it from the footpath as photo opportunities are better. The lighting in the Canal Tunnel is IMPRESSIVE.
This self-contained apartment is in a great location to visit The Falkirk Wheel & The Kelpies, as well as being close to Falkirk centre and there being two supermarkets within easy walking distance (Morrisons & Tesco).
Parking is secure and excellent.
The hosts live in the adjoining property, so are easy to speak to if you need anything.
The welcome pack, which included milk and fresh orange juice, was very welcome.
We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
We both loved the friendliness of the owners Pat and Bill. From the word go we were greeted with a warm welcome and when we left it was like leaving friends. The room we stayed in had a 4 poster bed, a wonderful little on suite bathroom, plenty of tea and biscuits and lovely views of a sunset over the beautiful Scottish hills. No. 54 is in an excellent location near town centre, The Kelpies and The Falkirk wheel. We can not wait to re-visit when we travel to this region again.
Booked this place months in advance as we were travelling from East Ayrshire for a gig at Falkirk Stadium. After 1 hour into our almost 2 hour journey and 1 hour before check in we received a call from the place saying the hotel was closed!!!!! 1 hour before check in.......come on guys it could have been dealt with well before this!!! Anyway we ended up selling our gig tickets and returning home as we had no place and no time to find somewhere else before the gig started!!!!!
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's a bit utilitarian, but for a place to stay while visiting London, it's great. The price was also reasonable. The hotel is a short walk to the Earls Court tube station and there are lots of food options nearby. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay and will definitely be at the top of our list when visiting London again.
All the food was A1. Perfectly cooked breakfasts with home made conserves with as much fresh coffee as you wish. Location excellent combining countryside peace with interesting moss country but with ready access to local attractions - Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies and Forth Bridges (find Port Elgin for best views). Oh, and did I mention the malt whisky provided in every room?
It was a short lovely walk through a trail to the Kelpies. Also a short walk to bus stop to trip into centre of town. The hotel & room were very clean and newly opened. All the staff was friendly and the front office ladies were so helpful and accommodating. Would absolutely stay there again and will be recommending to friends, family and business partners.
Clean functional accommodation, located within a short walk of the Falkirk Kelpies. Staff were excellent offering suggestions for meals and guidance on getting to the Kelpies.
The hotel is located in an industrial estate just off the M9. Although there are no meal facilities on site there are options a short drive away.
Location of hotel was excellent, close to town centre but still in a quiet area. Staff were exceptionally professional, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely, we also booked a table in the restaurant for our stay and not only was the food lovely but very well priced.
We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable room with everything we needed. Just a 5min drive (or short walk and 15min bus ride) to the train station to get into Edinburgh. Nice, friendly host. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Edinburgh/Falkirk/Stirling.
We appreciate that they found alternative accommodations for us on short notice (24 hours) when there was a water issue with the accommodations that we had booked. The central location of the bunkie that was both close to the train station & to The Kelpies is great for tourists.
The hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and lovely seating area within the bed room. The pool, sauna and steam rooms were of a really high standard and created a lovely camping area. Staff were very approachable and helpful
The area was great had everything easy access to visiting places the good thing we was visiting friends who live in Falkirk so that made it easy for us with not been there before we will be back
The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with a good shower. The hotel is well situated with easy access to the attractions of Falkirk and connecting roads.
Great little hotel with excellent food & drink at a very good price. The staff are very polite & friendly. Will definitely use again if staying in the area.
