Lovely host and stunning area. Cooked breakfast. Close to town and nature reserve. Clean and comfortable. It was very cold for the time of year but we were able to use an electric heater to add to the radiators.

The staff were 10/10, friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast was perfect, exactly what you need to start your day! And VIEW from the room, I felt like I was in my own personal little heaven.

The room was lovely and cosy and we were given room 201 which had a beautiful view right up the Main Street. Great location, so handy to everywhere and free parking nearby. The beds were very comfortable. There was coffee, tea, biscuits and milk sachets all handy in the room.
Kevin and his dad were so obliging, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We always like ice with our drinks in the room (which is what we sometimes miss with staying in a hotel), but Kevin was more than happy to give us some ice.
Good selection of continental breakfast in the morning, but only thing we missed was a cooked breakfast.

A couple of slight negatives, one is the lack of bike racks to lock our bikes to as we bring them with us every time and it would be nice to know that we had somewhere secure to lock them and secondly, the state of the water as the last time I swam there around the back of Rooms@Mourne in mid October 2022 there were dead crabs and brown foam floating pass me, which I don't think bodes well for water quality so perhaps the local council could do water testing to enable swimmers to make an informed choice as to whether or not to get in as it could be a fabulous asset to the town for both visitors and residents alike if they felt it was safer to swim there.

Dundrum is a small village outside of Newcastle but is well serviced with public transport. Although small there are a number of restaurants and bars, plus a garage beside the accommodation which socks everything you might need for a short stay.
Within 50 minutes from Belfast it’s the perfect place to come to relax and take in the beautiful views across Dundrum bay. Can’t wait to go back at New Year!

Dundrum is a lovely Irish village with plenty of history and beautiful views of the Mourne Mountains and in close proximity to many other beautiful areas easily accessible by road.
Has a fantastic fresh fish restaurant (Mourne seafood Bar) that serves beautiful food and there's a lovely little cafe serving delicious food and tea and coffee (Blue Bay Cafe).
